How old are you? And do you take a medication for blood pressure ?

I'm glad you have found some relief, and faith can bring about true miracles! I'm going to get another Epidual Spinal Injection soon, see if his approach can get a little closer to the nerve. If this one doesnt work, I'm not sure I'd go through it again. Exposure to fluoroscopy, not having had children yet, probably isn't…

Because she has a bigger booty 😍😍😍

So today was 4.5 miles in 90 minutes, going for the 90 minute mark I guess lol. Felt great and not sore, stretched a good 20 minutes after.

Baby steps back in the right direction, thanks ❤

Since always depending on culture...but definitely since Sir Mix A Lot said "He likes big butts and he can not lie" 🤣😍
-
Definitely a well built booty! I have the shape, but working on getting it toned, to not only look good, but be a strong base for my core. A flat tummy is coming as an added bonus.
-
Truth, thanks for this 🤔😊

Yes, actually had one a month ago that offered no relief. I'm going to switch doctors for injections and see if it's their technique that makes the difference. I was an OR nurse before this injury, and I've seen the differnce a skilled doc can make, especially in these type of injections.

Definitely getting used to having some pain, and so far you're right about adaptation and movement. Walking, mild strength training and ROM are what seems to make it better. I guess I just need to come to the understanding that it may always hurt a little, and a pain of "0" might not be a reality for me anymore.

This is what I am afraid of, wanted to have a baby this year and this injury is very intimidating to do so.
-
Thanks so much for your response, the 18 month to 2 year range is what I fear, seems like an eternity. Walking seems to be my best friend, I did PT for about 12 weeks (twice weekly) , this is all that was allowed, as I was hurt on the job and they cap the number of visits allowed. I'm so glad you found some relief.

This is awesome, im going to give it a shot, sounds like it would a great addition to the garden. It cool where I am, but literally 32 would be the the coldest maybe once or twice a year. Thanks so much for sharing.

Day 8- That's a wrap After a week we are ending our experiment early. A month was the goal, but after this week's events my husband's heart just isn't in it, and mine isn't without him. I'm thankful we tried it and went along this far. Thank you Sam. What we learned: 1. Thankful this was a choice and not forced do to…

Recap of Day 5 Late post, as yesterday was harsh. My husband's grandpa passed away. While he might not have been close to his grandpa due to living in Oregon (we are in Southern California) he's extremely close with his dad, and his dad took it really hard. They both left work early and went for lunch and to the local…

Completely understand where you're coming from, true charity is because you feel the need, you are unmotivated by selfish means. However, I would not have done this experiment, decided to help my community in a small way or signed up to volunteer at Food Share, if someone had not talked about it. I followed a lot of…

So I did buy the Stevia, as I have some growing at the moment, but I'm letting the plant mature before I start plucking it. The Stevia comes out to $0.02 per 4 drop serving. Avocados are life for me! Hoping to get some more from the neighbor soon, we may be swapping squash for them from our garden. This was not in our…

Absolutely, thanks for asking. So I buy my peanut butter at Winco, they have a peanut grinder there, so you can buy whatever amount you'd like for $2.02/ lb. So it comes out to $0.13 per 30g serving, or 2 Tbsp, I measured to make sure. My bananas are $1.18 for 3 lbs from Sam's club, I bought bunches with 10 bananas making…

Day 4 Today was a little rough, long work day and I struggled to get the calories in (made up for it at dinner). Took my a long time to finished my shake, it was so dang hot and I wasn't hungry. Not sure if it's a good thing to force myself to eat, I just don't want to feel crummy under eating or not getting enough…

I stated from the beginning this isn't a comparison, but just to clarify I don't have a farm. I live in a small urban area with above the ground planters and an herb box, I make the most out of roughly 90 sq ft. To those that have a problem with me posting about this challenge, please understand this isn't my challenge,…

It only made 4 servings, my husband ate all 3 of the others.

Can you see my diary? I made it public so you could see portions. I don't know if myfitnesspal allows you to see recipes others have created, as this is how I've been logging, otherwise hand entering each ingredient would drive me crazy lol.

I've tried many protien powders and ashamed at how much money I've wasted trying to find one I liked. The best plant based protien I've had to date is a pea protien called Orgain. I've tried chocolate and vanilla and both are great. Good price point as well.

Day 3 A lot of feedback today, and all is appreciated. Again, just to clarify, this is simulation, nothing is exact reality because that is literally impossible. I'm not numb to the luxuries I have, and I attempt each day not to take any for granted. This experiment is not to mock the poor, suggesting with enough planning…

This was my biggest issue transitioning to a higher fiber diet. I was literally in pain, even had acid reflux, which has never been an issue. I talked with a GI Dr. at work and he gave me a tip, like someone already mentioned, start slowly and work up to it. Our gut has billions of little bugs (mircobs) that actually…

Absolutely! Thanks for your response and encouragement. I know you're partner might have reservations, but maybe you all could do the 5 day challenge to start? It's been a real eye opener, and I'm excited to see what the months end will teach us. ❤

That all sounds amazing, and now I'm wishing there was a coconut tree near by...mangos are my favorite! We are getting a little produce from our garden most days, and I did plant some micro greens from seeds I collected. Hoping they start piping up in the next few days for a poor man's salad. And just to clarify, I've…

Sauted spinach, gram for gram, has more iron than red meat and seafood, and way less calories. Hard to eat 100g of fresh spinach, unless you like big salads! Also helps all the other vitamin and mineral counts, K, A, C, Potassium, calcium. No wonder Pop Eye had those big guns!

Thank you for the few of you reading. It's been fun coming home at the days end to report back on this challenge. I'd like to start by apologizing if I truly offended anyone, that's not me, I'm kind and cringe if I think I've hurt someone's feelings. I guess I wanted to share this experience with others for enlightenment,…

A tad hungry today...no snacks until later...
