How did you go in the shred?
-
Yeah my local ASN is Newcastle/Hamilton. Not much on their facebook page other than the usual stuff. There are a few other ASN stores in the region
-
yeah. I'd check on it. Although the Ketrim I got was pretty hard in the container so hard to get out. Not much talking in their forums, What are the facebook support groups? I haven't gone looking yet

Yeah. It really hasn't given me anything I didn't know. I have really just kept my usual routine as I train with mates in the morning and play a bit of sport (hockey, squash, afl and cycling). Did you get the email of them apologising for everything and offering the free supplement. The forum don't have much on them either…
-
Haha. Yeah its rubbish. It was the main reason I got it
-
Did you get the meal planner to work?
-
Thanks. Will give that a go :-)
-
yeah. The whole setup seems out of whack as disorganised so far. I sent them an email about my macros as my protein they had at 283g which I wondered why so high. Still waiting to hear back....... Good luck, hopefully we can both smash and see results

Cool thanks mate. Is it fine to keep my 40/40/20 macro split?

That what I thought, work is mainly desk bound. However I lift 4 mornings a week. do cardio 1 morning a week. Play hockey and squash once a week and ride on the weekend.
-
Looking at going from 16% bf to about 12-13%. Have looked up recomping and have calculated that I need 2400cal on lifting days and 1820 on non lifting days. Does this sound right for a 89kg male?
-
I am trying to hit around the 2,400 mark. I do love spicy food but it does not consume my diet. I admit a lot of my diet is meat and veg.

Mine is open. But be aware I'm in Australia. I have noticed some differences in food eaten with what people in America, but then again it's always good to learn.
-
how many meals a day?
-
Happy to share, I generally eat pretty healthy but wouldn't mind some other snack ideas
-
Curry's are always good. I have a few healthy options I regularly use.
-
has anyone attempted the weetbix challenge of eating one in a minute, raw with not fluids?
-
This sounds pretty good. With it being the winter at the moment, schnapps always goes down well.
-
A good quality coffee is always needed. It's also a good way to kick start the day after a morning workout.

I have the powder form of L-Carnitine. I have tried the pills however prefer the powder as I can mix it with my protein shake. although be aware it does how an "acquired" taste although I am one of the weird ones that don't mind it (in short doses).

Thanks everyone. I stay away from the ergs as they aren't the best thing for my back. Years of rowing has taken it's toll

no boot, and should be able to walk normally in a week although won't be able to push it for another 5. Will be talking to my physio next week when I start doing exercises to strengthen it so I will have more idea then. Just wanted to see what has worked for others and perhaps discuss it with the physion if appropriate for…

I've had a prolapse disc in my lower back and surgery. since then the back occasionally plays up. I can recommend yoga as a good exercise to help with flexibility and core strength. I was also told to try not heated (bikram yoga) to begin with as you may overstretch and cause more injuries, best to ease into it and work up…

I love Japanese food. Katsu chicken with curry and rice does not go down well in the calorie stakes. I also find a recipe online however I am lazy and just throw it in a guestimate. I do make sure I try and be conservative and make sure the recipe has no low fat options because I am sure they don't. My favourite however is…

All good ideas. I was thinking of trying to steam some spinich and mix though some beans and quinoa for a highish protein side dish. Always fun experimenting while cooking
-
I have a microwavable bowl and have a bag of oats for porridge. You can also use these bowl with cereal and milk (assuming work has a fridge).
-
Said no to Karaage chicken curry with rice. That being said it's more to offset my upcoming weekend at a wine show.

I'd assume total calories is what you have consumed and net calories are what you have consumed minus what you has burnt off with exercise.
