Cool, glad you got it

For goals you can click My Home > Goals > Change goals. If you need to change a entry like weight, click My Home > Check In > Edit Previous Entries. Hope that helps

Of course you can do it, it's just a matter of some time and a bit of research into all this calorie stuff. I would recommend eating as you normally do for a week and log EVERYTHING with the myfitnesspal app. That will give an accurate list of what your diet is really like. I don't mean 'diet' as in a weight loss program,…

My get up and go has usually got up and pissed off without me. My motivation usually comes from a memory of a conversation I had with a friend a while ago where quite a few times we had both said 'I wish I started that ages ago, it would be done by now', I don't want to be saying that in the future about my health and…

Hi

I weigh in every friday, really only so I can see a larger change from the previous weigh in. I'm going to get a fitbit aria, once I've got that I'll probs check it more regularly

I use a fitbit and get a message about it adjusting my calories. There is a setting in the options for tracking devices adjusting your calories. I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for. I'll attach a screenshot

Hi Mel, welcome to MFP. Good luck with your fitness goals

OMG Well done all of you!! I have been debating whether or not I should go to the gym today (low motivation today), you have all inspired me to get off my *kitten*. Again, well done!

A few weeks ago I had what sounds much the same, after a bit of reading up I came to the conclusion it was most likely plantar fasciitis. I got it from jump around like a looney playing tennis. It's taken two, almost three weeks for the tender feeling to calm down.

One of my friends talked me into doing a body balance class with her a few months ago. I thought 'a girls class, easy'...I was so wrong! lol I was left in a pool of sweat come the end of it and I never leave a gym session feeling like I've worked that much. It was one of those classes that really let me know where my…

Hi Leo, I'm from Scotland, feel free to add me, more UK friends is always good. Well done on losing that pound, a loss is a loss even if it took a little longer than you wanted ;) I log every day although I really need to sort out my diary, I'm trying to gain so I've been using MFP to make sure I eat enough. My diary is…

That's interesting. I burn out rapidly. Thanks for that info  Definitely, loads of test strips. The more data you can collect, the more you can refine the process.

That's excellent  The idea of not eating fruit on an empty stomach or eating with something else, it can be fat, fibre or protein is a good idea. The reasoning behind it the non (or low carbohydrate) food can delay gastric emptying, delaying how long it takes for the food to be transferred to the small intestine…

OMG I found that too funny!!! 35 and counting :(

Hi caroldavison332 I've been a type 1 diabetic for 22 years, while our conditions are different, many of the control aspects are the same. Try not to get overloaded with information, you'll learn what you need to do as time goes on. There is no need to go too in depth at the beginning, as you see your doctors/specialists,…

Yeah it's pretty old school lol

Put them on as solid a surface as possible. Any springing happening underneath them can throw them off a little

Hi all, on a weight gain mission, some UK based friends would be good

I need to be in the overweight range of the BMI to look even remotely healthy

I keep my gym bag geared up and ready all the time. That way it's no hassle to grab it and go

I know exactly what you are feeling. I was (still am?) the same way. I've been under weight for many years and have only in the past few months managed to start turning that around. I've not reached my goal yet but i'm definitely on the way. One of the biggest problems I'm finding is 'training' the stomach to deal with…
