  • I have a habit of Binge-eating too, it makes me feel awful about myself but I can't stop sometimes! It's because I'm an emotion-eater (all bingers are), and we eat mindlessly at times without even realising/feeling out of control until we've eaten a load! I ate the icing off an entire cake last week the day before my exam…
  • I always eat at social events whatever I want as a 'giving myself a break' from being healthy, but when there's so many occasions and birthdays etc. when this happens it's pretty much not a diet anymore and just bad eating haha, I need to not let myself loose like once or twice a week! It's too much, does anyone else do…
  • I'm also really similar and struggling to lose the last few pounds! Just before Easter I was on a diet for almost 4 weeks which barely included sugar or fat at all (and I don't eat bread - makes a huge difference) and I found that I started to not want or feel like I needed sugar, when I tried chocolate I found it far too…
  • Don't let a blip in your overall plan stop you, or make you think you've failed - mistakes and blips are normal parts of every success story, so accept that yeah you've binged and slowed your progress, but you can now get back on it and continue in your progress to where you want to be :)
  • I heavy weight lift and love it, it really gets me feeling better afterwards and I like to do it most days - I've kept tone and built up a little on my thighs but I'm not 'bulky' at all, but I'm not a typical 'skinny' looking girl, by lifting weights you'll find you'll be a good middle :)
  • I have hypothyroidism too and it massively affects my life! It's run through my family as well, but I went to the doctor and he didn't believe me and thought I was 'overreacting', but I'm 100% sure I have it. Was it easy to get diagnosed and medication? Does the medication help? I'm also struggling with weight loss and…
  • IBS is the worst, and it's brought on by stress - maybe it's the stress that's bringing down your weight loss efforts? I know that with IBS you should try to cut out any bread as much as possible, it really helps
  • Yeah it is actually helpful knowing so many others are in similar positions! It's hard to stay motivated when you're always around people who can eat anything haha, 14 pounds is a lot sounds like you're on a role :) hopefully I can lose quite a lot before July!
  • I have similar problems and stress takes over my eating habits as it's a form of comfort - you need to find comfort/ relief from the depression in other ways then food, because food gives you temporary relief and afterwards makes you feel so much worse with the added guilt of the eating. It helps me when I'm literally just…
