I'm 29, F, 5'9" and I've lost 6.5 of the 80-100 pounds I have to lose. Started a low-carb style diet about a week and a half ago and it's something that's finally worked for me! Very exciting. Ha, that last sentence is exactly how I feel!! I did have some anxiety issues on a medication I took a few years ago but that's all, and I have a family member who's diagnosed as bipolar. Is eating less or eating less carbs something that can trigger issues with bipolar disorder? Thanks for this.

I'm averaging about 1200 - 1400 calories a day and my sedentary BMR is about 1800. It's definitely less than I'm used to eating so my hope's been that my body's just adjusting.
