  • I found the whole 30 to be a great reset of habits and palette change. It helped me give soda up completely where I was having multiple cans of diet soda a day. I lost about 10 lbs but that wasn't my goal. My goal was to see how certain a foods were affecting me. Now, it was time to count calories and stay within a…
  • 75-90lbs including the 35.
  • Those were my running but what goal am I suppose to be paying attention to? I really don't understand Net and can't imagine I should be eating 2200+ calories. I've been dipping into my exercise to hopefully cover my over eating.
  • Pallof press
  • As someone with severe pulmonary issues, I have to say, if I can do it, you can, too. I ran my first mile ever today and not just 1! I ran 1.75 miles!!! I think I couldn't of have pushed through to 2m but I'm following the program. I am in shock how well I'm doing because I'm not one of those people that has ever been able…

  • Radiating pain is never a good thing. Doctor. ASAP.
  • I had a donut with breakfast. Take a look at last Sat for me. It's not great but it's getting me there. Down 35lbs and still have a lot to go but I'm doing it. It's not all or nothing which was the hardest thing for me to get.
  • You just started C25K and are already running 30 min??? I kinda hate you. I have week 5 day 3 tomorrow and am so nervous to attempt 20 min of straight running for the first time.
  • I weigh myself every day and log into Happy Scale which only allows a single entry for the day. As someone that gets obsessive, Happy Scale has really helped keep me calm during this process. I'm ok with logging weight higher than it was yesterday as it gives you a moving average as well as gives you a forgivable graph.…
  • No.
  • Enell is a lock and load, nothing gonna bounce option. I also really like panache sports bras. Highly recommend Amazon for good deals.
  • Costco has Tuff brand capris and full lengths. They are fantastic and $15.
  • It really is amazing stuff. I always add it to my smoothies. There is wheat grass but it also has about 40 different types of dehydrated fruits and vegetables. Personally, there is something in it that I need. It gives me so much energy and I can tell the difference if I go a few days without it. The first week I had it,…
  • I just posted this in another thread but it's applicable here regarding foods to remove from your diet: 1. High calorie foods you don't love. That's easy. 2. Do you have trigger foods? Foods that you have to keep eating until it's gone? Cut those out for awhile until you develop new habits then see how you do when you…

Cut those out for awhile until you develop new habits then see how you do when you introduce them. 3. Made room for something in your calories that left you hungrier than before you ate it?…
  • I created a habit of making a cup of hot tea when I'm done for the day and about to sit down and relax. It's made a huge difference for me as I like to have something if I'm watching TV.
  • Pallof press was taught to me by my PT. Suggest you do the same. Back injuries of any kind should not be taken lightly nor should you introduce new exercises without being checked out. Pilates is not, NOT, a good idea if you have something going on with your neck or back without dr approval. Seriously, get checked out and…
  • Wouldn't that mean anyone that sleeps is sedentary?
  • Well, that makes it a lot easier!
  • I have Fitbit charge HR. If I link that, it will adjust accordingly without worrying about the activity level?
  • I did for 30 days and it really did change my life. It's not a long term diet but a palette reset and a way to find out if you have food sensitivities. After 30 days, you should start reintroducing restricted foods one at a time and pay attention to your body. I was a big sugar addict. Diet sodas and coffee that was more…
  • I think of it like this: weight loss is to exercise as getting sick is to going outside with wet hair during winter. While it's ridiculous that wet hair would "catch" bacteria or viruses, there is something about getting cold that may lead to you being less likely to fight something off. Technically, the old wives tale is…
  • Try reading The Power of Habit. He discusses how willpower is more about replacing/changing habits and how to figure out your triggers and routines to change them.
  • Since I switched to running outdoors, I have hated the treadmill. I also hate when it's too cold or too hot. Whiney, I know but when it comes to exercise, it's hard for me to stay at it. Anyway, my gym has an indoor track and that has been the answer. It's not the same as being outside but it's a million times better than…
  • And iced green tea! I use one that also has mint and that makes a big difference.
  • Flavored seltzer. Wegman's and Polar are my favorites.
  • LOL! I have definitely misread a lot of people's tone on here but it's also made this community a lot sweeter for me. :)
  • Obviously, this is just my opinion but no. It sounds like a way to make you obsess over what you can and can't eat. It's more important to figure out how to eat within your calorie goal.
