• Id be more scared of running in the dark or in a lonely park. I worry too much about what is going to happen to me if Im alone than people staring at me. If you are not afraid and its just what people think, think about how you feel when you jog not what everyone else is doing, they probably could not care less.
• Not all salads are equal to light. Stay clear of dressings poured over the salad, get it on the side and use sparingly. sometimes salads are more calories than steak.
• I am not cutting the micronutrients I am just getting them differently. If you read the rest of the quote about Carbs you saw it was more to do with converting Carbs being stored as fat. Hence Carbs disguised as fat.
• You dont but I am being told that to lose weight you have to lose calories Calories In and Calories out. But its not true in my case. Carbs out Fat in = lose weight for me
• Ok so how do you explain 1300 calories = weight gains and 2000 calories = weight loss. The only difference in diet is high carbs 1300 and high fat no carbs 2000
•
Manufactured processed garbage like, say, 0% fat Greek yogurt? :p
Do you have shares in Greek yogurt or something because you seem obsessed by it. Its a food, eat it if you want. Personally Id chose not to because it doesnt have fat in and has more sugars It has 9gs of sugar and when you only have 30gs a…
• Niacin is one of the fat burners but you can not just take a vitamin with niacin in you have to balance the whole micro nutrients for it to be absorbed properly
• Hate to break it to you but everyone is dying. I do not process carbohydrates because I lack micro nutrients therefore I gain weight and am over weight for under eatting ie calories in are not being burnt up but are being stored as fat
If you don't process them, can't you eat as many as you want without gaining any…
• Certainly not. Micro nutrients are not just vitamins and you should be eating whole foods not manufactured processed garbage.
• Hate to break it to you but everyone is dying. I do not process carbohydrates because I lack micro nutrients therefore I gain weight and am over weight for under eatting ie calories in are not being burnt up but are being stored as fat. I have no energy unless I have balanced nutrients. Since cutting out carbohydrates and…
• Me being over weight does have everything to do with low Niacin
• I did not say either was good or bad at the glucose metabolism cycle. I said they worked differently. I know they work. I am diabetic, I know I lose fat quicker with the fat burning than the sugar processing because I do not have enough insulin. So this is why Carb = bad to me and not others and Fat=Good to me because it…
• And if you dont have the micronutriants to make the triglyercide thats when you get problems in the process. The liver is where the fat is removed but the free fatty acids attach themselves to the cells blocking the normal body functions that convert the burning processes, storing up problems that causes weight gain. In a…
• This statement is factually incorrect. You can be overweight and nutrient deficient. You can be over weight obese and still be malnurished. If you do not make enough fatty acids in your diet you will not be able to burn calories.
• I never said deficient I said too many. While you eat carbs you are still burning energy. If you eat more energy than your body needs it will convert it into stored fat whether the excess is due to fat or carbs in your diet. The stored fat prevents the liver working as does liver damage due to excessive drinking. This…
• You both obviously have no idea of how the micro nutrients work with the liver function into producing energy and what it does with excess energy. I did not say either system was good or bad, just said which was faster.
• Got to look at your micro nutrients and vitamins. These are the essential building blocks of moving weight. The better levels they are at, the faster the weight will move. Carbs are fat in disguise. When you eat too many Carbs they turn into fat, provided that the liver and pancreas are working. Too much fat in your blood…
• Variety. Not sticking to the same high fat foods. Making sure you eat fish and meat and nuts. Sticking to leafy greens or low carbs in fruit and veg. I also eat porridge for breakfast to ensure I have roughage. Just keeping all other carbs out of the diet. I am on a Vitamin D tablet from the Dr. This was before I changed…
• Lets quit all this BS. As someone who wants to look after their own weight issues, you should not be down grading everyone else who does not look like your ideal weight. If the gym staff are bigger, (presumably you have seen them naked and its not muscle weight you are comparing) it is up to them to manage what weight they…
• Some people, myself included, over eat on the crap. If I go food shopping I buy crap. If I shop online and dont see it I dont buy it and therefore dont eat it. Its hard to limit food you love to eat. I know exactly where you are coming from when you get through half the day and think I need it now! The trick is to say not…
• Quarter Pounders or 4oz or 115g burger are all the same. If you are getting up to 200g thats a big burger. Since most diets recommend portions of meat around 3-4 oz your burger would be closer to 7oz and therefore it probably would be closer to 600 calories than not. These are raw weights.
• I just lost a wonderfully written moaning rant about me needing a swift kick in the pants. I will spare you the details but anyone want to volunteer feel free I need it. Kate
• I do not know how anyone in the food industry does not know you need to label everything. I label my food at home never mind in a restaurant. They obviously have never had customers leave due to food poisoning, although how they have not I would not know. We went to this mexican restaurant in florida that had only just…
• @csofled Beautiful crochet. When you reach the desired width all you do is keep the length going but stop the width at the same number. You will need to do the "straight" edge like the one on the bottom/side of your pattern. @Heather giggles pond scum pie. Looks delicious. @jmkmomm I can understand you not liking cheese…
• It depends on if you are a food addict or not. Everything in moderation is ok if you have the discipline not to eat the rest of it. This will not work if you are addicted to what you eat. Its like giving up cigarettes. alcohol or drugs. The same cravings will apply. Non food addicts just dont get that people can be food…
• I suffer with depression and post traumatic stress. I joined a group that runs bike rides every week. (I could ride but they will teach you how to if you dont know). It has made a huge difference to the way I feel and deal with my depression. It gives me more energy to do more stuff. On the difficult days I rationalize it.…
• Hi ladies Made some pond scum today. Well that what it looks like. I decided that I need to try some smoothies out. Got my home made almond milk, cup full of raw spinach, 100g summer berries, and grated carrot. It looked awful but actually did not taste too bad. Quite refreshing slightly bitter with a hint of sweetness…
• Sighs, eat real food. Protein rich food. Nuts 23 almonds = 129 calories. Try chewing through 23 almonds in one go. I cant. You can add flavour by dry roasting them with spices like cinnamon, pumpkin spice, nutmeg, chilli, whatever you like.
• The right attitude to diet is its not a diet its a change for life. Most weight loss is done through food management. Once you stop the diet you stop the food management. Exercise is a change that helps burn up the food intake but ultimately its the quantity and quality of food you eat that will keep your weight off. The…
