For liquids such as oil weighing is not practical. A US cup =236.588ml.

Frankly, you're probably best served by spending a bit to work with a professional trainer, and get a program set up that fits your situation, goals, injury history, time available and all that. I'm way past the point of having access to collegiate strength coaches and trainers, but I still have all the old strength…

Every product on the planet is made by Google and sold by Amazon. After eating my Google cereal I get in my Googlemobile to get to my job at Google. If you don't believe me, you can Google that!

I just don't want to see silly stratospheric calorie goal numbers, which is what I'd see otherwise.
-
Just enter everything in MFP. Enable negative calorie adjustment if desired. I do this so that the calorie goal doesn't keep increasing so much. Since MFP entries have the time period, you pretty much can't mess it up, even if you enter things like walking the dog, which you probably wouldn't do anyway.

Red Man chewing tobacco. No wait... I meant, my old mouth guard from high school. Or, if that is under the bed or something, I'll try two St Joseph's Aspirin for Children.

8 hours. 10PM to 6AM. Many days I awake at 5AM though, and just get up. I used to row at this time, but no more; I pop out of bed anyway.

A really smart ethnically Chinese schoolteacher, living in George Town, Penang, Malaysia who is deeply Christian, the daughter of missionaries from Kentucky, a godly gal (My GG!!!!) in a beach front condo who is learning to love baseball, teaches me Manglish, laughs at my jokes, and loves my crazy daughter. That one! The…

You pass a hundred stores a day filled with junk food. America is paved and plastered and completely constructed of junk food. Just don't eat it. Of course you could go nuclear: "You make the world's lousiest cheesecake. I wouldn't eat it if it was the last morsel of food on this dying planet. " But that's not a good idea,…

hydromassage. LOL! After all that back-breaking effort a little reward is merited. Honestly, Sunday should have "pray for fitness", which I think is likely to be more effective than the wussy "program" .

I average >10,000 steps per day, but that is just incidental to my fitness activities and nutrition. That is, some fitness activities like tennis add a lot of steps while others like weight lifting and rowing add none. Really I think ceoverturf has it right about diet being the more important thing. I'd not personally rate…

Let go, let go... Like a deep breath of fresh air, a long drink of cool water... "But ask the animals, and they will teach you; the birds of the air, and they will tell you; ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you."

Homemade muesli. Here is my recipe: 925g rolled oats, 425g golden raisins, 225g dates, 250g sliced almonds, 100g sunflower seeds, 300g wheat germ, 100g oat bran, 50g flax seed, 200g red raisins, 200g flaked coconut, 100g pecan pieces. This is not a low-calorie food. I call this version "Muesli My Darling" and if I leave…

Try pickleball. You will be so happy you did.

Don't worry about trivialities. All those diabetic chimps cannot be wrong.

Meat and nuts for breakfast. Nothing else. Amazingly effective! Never the same meat or nuts two days in a row.

My diary, dull reading I may say, is open.

Muesli. Skinless boneless chicken breast tossed on the George Foreman grill. Boil-in-bag curry from the Indian grocery served over smashed cauliflower. Low fat cottage cheese with salsa. Protein powder, almond milk and frozen berries shake. And in my case --- eating my words on a regular basis.

Go on YouTube and see what Alan Thrall eats... Alan Thrall's 10,000 calories diet ought to pull it up. Warning: you won't be hungry for a week. But Alan is a good guy and and very good instructor. Strong man type.

I put salsa on everything--- fish, meat, ex-wife, kids, bass boat, running shoes....

Venison backstrap, roasted. My breakfast, along with almonds.

I'm 65 and find that really it takes less and less food every year to function at the same level--- not exactly fabulous news, but it seems to be so. The two things I think are important are to focus on fitness not simply weight, and to keep moving. Sitting is the new smoking! Pickleball is a great way to keep you moving.…

Obtain the freshest of banana leaves, wrap the chicken in them, place wrapped chicken in hole at least two feet deep lined with glowing coals of acacia wood, cover with more coals, cover with moist earth, and cook for twenty-seven minutes. Or--- do as I do and toss the whole thing it a pot of boiling water.

My staples are a protein shake made with 2 cups of nonfat milk; chicken breast which I just boil or slice and put on the good ol' George Foreman grill; and lowfat cottage cheese. I make a kind of chicken salad with diced chicken breast and minced eggwhites moistened with Kroger nonfat creamy ranch dressing.
