Fruit is just sugar; Not a good idea to start with. I take proteins or starches (protein bars, granola, etc) when I'm on the go.

People who don't push their chairs in when they leave the table, especially in public.

A quart of water weighs 2 pounds. If you are drinking a lot of water and your sodium intake is high (or you are taking creatine) you'll store it in your muscles. As others have said, though, it doesn't really matter; at least it isn't fat :)
