I like my digital scale, but it's the 3rd one I've bought..the other two had flat buttons that didn't always seem to work.

I need to do more research on this topic so thanks for starting the thread. I'm 27 and when I max out on the stationary bike, I get up to 165...I too have no idea is that's too much, or if I should try to push harder.

Two things, you must have the wrong person because I AM losing weight at about 2.5lbs per week, and also this is a pretty immature thing to say to someone who simply asked how people like their coffee, lol...tbh, I'm betting you're a troll so I probably shouldn't even respond.

Don't worry about this sort of stuff, we all have varying degrees of out of shape-ness. My advice is what worked for me, try to find something you can do for even just 5 minutes(for me was stationary bike), keep doing it as often as you can and feel proud of yourself for it =)

I started at 337 and PWND that recumbent bike at the local gym..went from 10mph average, to 15mph average. I have faith in you! Stationary bikes are hardly effected by your size =)

As an obese person, I feel qualified to speak for all obese people (totes sarcasm). I found her rant spot on from a comedic standpoint. I tend to lose nothing one week, then lose 3-5 the next week..as if my body is like "wait, screw that I'm keeping this fat, it's mine...gah, dang it fine, you can take it..."

I have this issue, where ppl say "just eat less calories than you burn" but it's kinda tough to tell how much you actually burn. One site said my TDEE was 3600, another said it was 2400, and other all said varying amount in between...Really I'm just kinda wingin it on my calorie goals, and as long as I feel good AND lose…

Well what I mean is, regardless of if you're trying for a deficit or are maintaining, if you have a high tdee you can eat more. Really tho im no nutrition or diet pro so i could totally be wrong, but I think this is entering needless semantics territory haha.

My average tde amongst several calculators is like 2800, so for me it's not a big deal. I get tho if your tde is really small =(
