I drink excessively every couple weeks and somehow still lose weight steadily..I'd suggest lower call alcohol tho, maybe vodka tonic?

I always IF, and eat from like 5p-9p. Some days I have a huge or very unhealthy meal tho, and so I only eat once in that time..working for me!

I really often don't log little snacks..if I have 1 pringle chip, or a single cube of cheese, I'm not logging it.. Really, this logging thing is only gonna work as long as i can sustain it. So basically I'd say my logging is 90% accurate.

Hahaha, they didn't have the teriyaki chicken so I got blackened pepper chicken, and it wasn't as good as I'd hoped haha. I just heard about IF, thought it would help me reach deficit goals, and started trying...the first couple days were harder but now I barely think about food for the first half of my day, especially as I'm busy at work...as I said, on days off I struggle hahaha.

Hmmmm broccoli .I really broccoli too, but I get to have broccoli every day haha, panda express is a few hours from my house so im gonna go full on with this meal =)..and basically eat nothing else the rest of the day hahaha *disclaimer* I do NOT recommend eating 1 large, relatively unhealthy meal per day :P

I use intermittent fasting to keep my cals low...I simply don't consume calories until 4 or 5pm, and then I can 2 big meals and a small dessert, before I sleep at like 10pm.. Been working for me for months, but I will say that on my days off, where I don't keep busy between 9am-5pm, I do struggle and often go over my goal…

Mostly cuz I just really like it...ppl also ask me how I can eat chicken/veggies/potatos for like 5 dinners a week..I think I'm just a boring person with my food =)

I know it sounds cliche, but water really helps...when I get hungry I pound a bottle of water like a frat boy does beer...then I forget about food for a couple hours =)

I've seen this before, but I wonder, if you're an obese person like myself, does this measurement still hold up? I don't have visibly fat wrists, I can still totally see my joint there, but I am curious if my 8 inch wrists actually are accurately large, or if they're just fat haha.

I know the feeling! During my work week I restrict my calories and am moving a lot...but then my 3 day weekend comes and I eat too much and move too little.. I guess I just try to gain less in the weekend than I lost in the week and call it good :P

I have a hard time getting over 100g of protein so I snack on quest protein bars regularly...oreo is my favorite.

I was really strict with my diet for the first 40, but now that I'm about half way to my end goal, I'm starting to ease up and eat more. This means I'm losing a bit more slowly, maybe instead of 3lb a week, 2 or 1.5lb

When I did work out (I don't anymore as my new job makes me walk a ton), I'd set goals..like 6 miles on the stationary bike in 30 mins. Then a week later I'd go for 6 miles in like 27 mins. It was rewarding to see my increasing fitness and ability.

Seems like you're the perfect candidate for some calorie deficit medicine =) there's a ton of helpful posts around here on how to establish a good deficit and track your calorie intake..that's really all I've done to lose weight so I know you can too. Side note, people here can be overly opinionated and down right…

Depending on how big you are I can see an average of 4lbs the first few weeks being normal-ish...considering most big ppl lose a lot of water weight the first week. I myself lost 10 lbs the first week, and now I've settled at just over 2lbs a week.
