Getting comfortably back into the pants that are just a bit too snug these days

Bringing walking shoes to work and walking on my lunch hour.

I get two shots of expresso over ice in a venti cup and pour a premier protein shake over it. 160 calories, 30 grams of protein and tastes great!
-
I go over on protein all the time and am still losing just fine. Protein seems to keep me satisfied longer so I often seek it out.

I'm not seeing anyone currently, but I've heard a saying something like, "90% of weight loss is from the neck up" and I find it to ring true for my own battle. I get in my own way. I say go for it if you feel like it'd be beneficial!

The only thing I truly avoid are fast food milkshakes. At 1100-1300 calories, I can easily enjoy some other indulgence with much less caloric impact. Plus, they're really just not all that tasty.

Can I recommend a podcast that has been helpful to me? It's called Half Size Me and is hosted by Heather Robertson, who has lost and kept off 130 lbs for many years. It really helps me get out of the "diet mentality" and more of a lifestyle change/long-term perspective.

I struggled when WW changed to SP. I can't feel like I'm on a diet. Trust the calculations MFP provides, and I recommend a FitBit. You can sync it up and earn some extra calories by increasing your steps/activity.

I feel ya. I was down to 187 at my lowest last year. My highest was 214. I promised myself I'd never see the 200s again and I weighed 199 this morning. So now it's time to suck it up and do this damn thing.

Kale. Makes me want to die, gastrointestinally speaking

Turkey sausage, a scrambled egg and half a banana. Oh, and coffee (a must).

Unfortunately we were in that same boat at times growing up!

What kind of *kitten* laugh at someone t the gym? Good grief.

I'm looking to lose 50 also, add me!

I almost always have a hot herbal tea in my hand. Comforting, gets my "water" in and curbs appetite. Shop around for flavors, I found Salted Caramel by Bigalow and drink it with no added sweeteners.

Like most have said, gradually cutting back worked for me, and then I switched to a small amount of Sugar free torani syrup, and now I've just made enough room in my calories for two measured Tbsp of flavored creamer each morning with no sugar, etc.

I dual-tracked as well and found that in WW, I was eating less than 1100 calories. No wonder I was so lethargic! I cancelled WW and vowed to never go back. MFP all the way for me!

I crack the egg in half and pour it back and forth into the shell halfs until they separate. Easy peasy and free. Lol

Something along the lines of "Being fat is hard. Losing weight is hard. Choose your hard". Also, “We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

Start tracking everything you eat her in MFP if you aren't doing so already. You can lose with minimal physical activity. Do whatever you can within the limitations to move more, even if it's arm circles while sitting etc. most weight loss occurs by food choices and not by exercise. As you lose weight, you may feel like…
-
Because "eat less, move more" is so boring and unsexy compared to the idea of quick fixes. People ask me all the time "what I'm doing" and almost seem disappointed with my answer.
-
Waste of money in a search for a "magical cure". No such thing. Eating at a deficit and moving more is free and will provide results.

Light and Fit Greek yogurt is delicious. Cherry is my favorite.

Comparison is the thief of joy, hon. Sending you the hugs and strength to work through it, because you deserve to be happy ❤️

Go for options that are sustainable over a lifetime and that teach you healthy eating. I tried phentermine and had horrible side effects such as extreme dry mouth, heart racing, etc. I lost weight but it didn't teach me how to correct bad habits and the emotional/psychological triggers for overeating. So here I am heavier…

When the girl at Bob Evans knows you by name because you pick up a kids meal for lunch at least once a week!

I love Lindys Italian Ice. Proportioned, 100 calories and delicious! Gets my sweet fix without going off the rails
