At 5'2 and 135 lbs I fit into a size 4 Old Navy, at 98lbs in 1988, I wore a size 2. If you want an idea of your true size, look at vintage clothes patterns.

About 5 lbs. My range is 120-125

I had 65 lbs to lose, down 23. Want more friends who are active and have open food diaries. Sent you a request. I also just ordered a fit bit charge hr. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I use them because sometimes I have trouble eating breakfast. If I have to be at work early and food just doesn't sound good it's better than not eating. The Atkins ones aren't bad, low sugar and good amount of protein. I don't use them as a way of losing weight per se but more to have an option for a quick breakfast.

Hi, I'm 45 and started out with 65 lbs to lose. I'm down 20 and not giving up. Feel free to add me if you need support, I try and log daily.

Stronglifts 5x5 did wonders for mine and it is extremely simple. I like Strong curves too but SL is just so easy I never ended up doing it.

You don't need to loose weight but if you want to get more definition, start heavy lifting. It really works wonders at getting all the trouble spots fit.

My go toos are Lady Grey and Darjeeling

I got the same one today. I politely told them I'm doing great with MFP and that it's not a good idea to spam their secret diet or they will get banned. I don't know how to report them.

Tamales for Christmas Eve. Roast Beef and a Ham for Christmas Day. Haven't figured out the side dishes yet.

Because your caloric goal does not factor in exercise. If you don't want to utilize MFP how it was designed then set your activity level much higher and don't eat back exercise calories. Otherwise you are net intake is going to be too low.

My hips and thighs. Boobs tend to stay proportionate. Tummy always lags far behind.

At the moment I'm resting a foot injury. Once i'm back to normal I will start C25K again. Without exercise my TDEE is only about 1460 cal a day.

Go to MyHome, below you will see Check In. When you click that it takes you to a form to update weight and measurements. You can customize which measurements you track.

It does feel a little harder but I'm 45, short and sedentary. It doesn't give me a lot of room for mistakes with my calories. I've accepted my loss is going to be slow.

MFP is setup so that you're supposed to eat your exercise calories back. Your calorie goal is a NET goal. Meaning if you eat 1200 then burn 500 then yes you'd eat back calories until you get to 1200. Otherwise you are only actually eating 700 calories for the day which isn't healthy or sustainable.

I had lost 55 lbs with tracking. Stopped and did well for a while. you develop a good sense of portion size and control. Unfortunately not tracking made it too easy to lie to myself and put 32 lbs back on. I do think it's possible to maintain without tracking as long as you stay conscious of the food choices you're making.

Love that site. It really helps when I'm in a food rut and need new ideas

I went from always having been fit to being overweight. It was interesting that I became invisible. In general getting older and heavier really does make you a non entity to the general population.

As to the question at hand. I do track everything. It would be counter productive to not do so. My deficit isn't very large because A. I'm short B. I'm sedentary and C. my post hysterectomy my body wants to be fat lol Some days my deficit is only a few hundred calories, just not much wiggle room.. I'm sure if you had a…

Well we are on a fitness/calorie counting board. It's not illogical to think most of us are changing the way we eat to be healthier. That includes making better food choices. I know I certainly didn't eat as many veggies as I'm eating now. When I track I'm more conscious of the choices I make.

I'm in! I need to get back to walking regularly.

It works because it puts you in a calorie deficit. Guess what, so does using MFP as recommended. Now if you're asking if there is some ingredient in the product that makes you lose weight while still being in a calorie surplus, then the answer is no. Also unless you enjoy drinking the same monotonous liquid meal…

5'3...ok 5'2 1/2 ish Starting weight 172 lbs Current weight 150.4 Goal Weight 110-115

I'm 5'2 ish and 150 lbs and get told I don't need to lose weight when I mention I'm dong calorie counting. That's insane. Our perception in general of what is a healthy weight has become so skewed. It's to the point where I just don't discuss my eating or work outs anymore.

5' 2 and goal weight is 110-115 ish. I'm guessing my frame is small since I didn't weight over 105 lbs until I got pregnant. Now in my 40's so probably it's better to not aim too low. My lowest adult weight was 98 lbs but that was right after my last son and I was nursing a lot and couldn't keep weight on. Figure add 10-15…
