Nice work so far! Some weeks you'll get those big drops and others you will curse and swear and accuse the scales of cheating.. especially as that is the week you did everything perfectly.. but maybe some water weight, or medications or the weight-gods are just mocking you! But keep it up anyway!!

You mean the 5:2? Yes - that is about resetting hormones and ensuring your body doesnt get into a "starvation mode" - that is, it may be more sustainable and with less plateaus (for some people). It works well for my mother, I am more of the "all or nothing" type.. so it is better for me to avoid chips, not have them…

Sounds like you are definitely on the right path and well done for getting this far! Cardio definitely works but don't discount resistance training, interval training and making sure you have strength and flexibility... Are you increasing the length or distance of your run? What was difficult at a higher weight or lessor…

As pav said.. framing this as a short term thng will cycle you through high motivation periods and them crashing points of defeat... I average my calories over the week.. about 4/7 days I am under.. but I ate pizza this week and so that day was way over.. I used to struggle and feel I had failed every time I saw red.. now…

Sounds like you have been doing really well so far and so pause for a moment to give yourself some credit. As for the next step, reaching a plateau is always going to test your mental strength. Are you able to challenge your body in a new way? Stength and resistance training might be a way to push your body out of the…

Fantastic and your starting point is far too relatable... I have 18 months until my brother's wedding... this is such a boost to think it can be done! !

I remember losing weight after a breakup. I was a cute size 10. I looked great (looking back). But most of my friends at the time were size 6-8 models. I never felt turn and when I had a few designers try to fit me for shows (really low level local stuff).. they would make cments about how they didn't know if they had…
