In my RL, ive had colleagues give me a look or make a comment like "oh, you were doing so well! What happened?" when they see me drinking a 24 oz starbucks iced mocha, or if I'm eating chips and/or a burger with fries and/or anything that isn't plain raw vegetables with an un seasoned naked grilled chicken breast. I have…

oh cute, i guess I'm highly active then lol. Since getting my fitbit, I average more than 12.5k steps a day even when you include my rest days. That's reassuring, since the rest of my day I spend sitting in a chair or laying in a bed  I feel like I unlocked an achievement. What should I spend my upgrade points on...

Well, you'll have to see for yourself If eating more will interfere with getting your goal as fast as you say. It sounds like you're already set on a plan

And what made you think you needed help with diet or weight loss?

I could approach your question from the other end: if i lose weight faster by not eating, then i should just stop eating. What's the point of eating if I'm just going to gain weight? Do you believe people who are physically active and have healthy, muscular physiques can maintain those physiques by eating 1/3 of the…

Rotisserie chicken is my go to protein. Veggies and starch sides vary, depending on what's in the fridge or at a nearby salad bar

Why not just weigh and log your food and drink over a month, and check your weight each week. Then, try reducing your calories by 500 a day to see what that does to your weight over a month?
-
I eat most or all as well and have been losing more than expected. Eta: i don't always eat all the extra calories the same day I earn then, but certainly before Monday 12:00 am of each week
-
Do everything you would do on a normal day. Like any normal day, make sure whatever you're eating fits in your calorie goals, and if it doesn't fit then decide for yourself if it's worth it to you to go over your goal for the day/week.

Increasing your daily activity doesn't have to start off as strenuous exertion. Walk a few miles a day to start, maybe. Look on YouTube for some stuff you can do at hone if you need to be home most of the time. I've seen others discussing home walking videos, or home video boot camps etc

she's just reminding her audience that she's superior and others are inferior. No need to click the video to generate revenue for her, unless you want to.

Oh look, another YouTube person trying to draw attention!

If the symptoms are present only after your weight gain, then there's a pretty good chance losing weight will also affect the symptoms. Good luck!

Anything that fits into your calorie budget, and macro/micros if you're following those

Have you tried PB2? I read about it here on these forums and it's now part of my diet :-)

Had sleep apnea. Since losing weight I've stopped snoring altogether, and the sleep apnea is gone, too.

Eat a little less than you do now, and maintain your activity. Or, eat the same and move more. Or, eat less and move more. Start logging your food so you can determine how many calories you're really eating in a day, and try to eat fewer calories than you burn in a day.

The way op phrased their whole premise was different from the way a guilty person describes their eating style. The op recognizes they may be scrutinised for their high calorie day, and preemptively addresses this by including the highlighted terms. If there was guilt and powerlessness, then the op would've asked for help.…

Most people who are overweight/obese have probably had a 4000 calorie day more than once. Perhaps not as easy if you're only eating high volume low calorie foods.
-
Eh, op, if you're truly concerned about your eating style being unsustainable or unhealthy, talk to a professional for their opinion. I don't think you're doing anything wrong, but others may. If you think they're right, then you can probably change what you're doing. It doesn't sound like you're incapable of flexibility.
-
I don't see the binge aspect of this person's eating style. The powerlessness and guilt are probably the most emotionally challenging hurdles of binge eating. @leahxxoo , Are you feeling like you have no control over your eating when you choose to have high calorie intake days?
-
The OP is getting an average of 1400 calories a day when you add the other two days of high calorie intake. In a months worth of time, the OP is still going to be getting their 1400 calories a day. 8 of the 30 days will be high calorie intake, while the other 22 days will be low calorie intake. This almost sounds like…
-
Also, binge eating comes with guilt and the feeling that you have no control over your eating. Is that something you're feeling when you're eating? Do you think you have no control over what goes in your mouth? if so, then yes, I think you could be binging. However, from your post, it doesn't seem to me that you're feeling…

in 5 days yes, OP only has 5000 calories. In 7 days, OP averages 1500ish calories. In a week OP is supposed to have 9800 calories. If we work with the idea that meal timing is not important, then OP is getting 5000 calories in 5 days and 4800 calories for the other two days averaging 1400 calories a day if you're using 7…

I don't think this is unhealthy. If you'd prefer a professional opinion, talk to a dietitian i guess. I've been doing this, too. I'm managing my weight and keeping up with my daily activity just fine. What makes you feel it's unhealthy, OP?

From the menu in the upper left, go to nutrition. On the calories tab, set the view from day view: today to week view. Click the net tab above the graph. You want your daily net to be close to your goal without going too far over. being over your goal here will lower your deficit for the week, which means less weight lost…

I set my weekly nutrition setting to start my week on Mondays, the default was "7 days ago" Mondays, any unused calories gets wiped clean for next week.

What is your criteria for a disordered eating pattern, and what is your criteria for binge eating? I had no idea there was a calorie maximum that constitutes a binge eating disorder, especially if one still manages their weight, but I'm using dsmIV criteria, so maybe you have now up to date information. Binge eating…

Are you weighing all your food and drink?
-
See? Not much to this! You can eat what you like and still manage your weight. Spread the good word.
