These two pics are pictures I had to take for our company website. This one is from Feb 2015: And this one is from Sept 2016, down 65 pounds:

Only 1 lbs to go to hit my goal weight. 59 lost so far since one year ago.

The photo on the left was from May of last year. The right photo is today. I've lost 55 lbs and as of this morning I'm in the normal BMI range. Also last May my AC1 level was in the diabetic range, now it's in the normal range.

So this just happened: I'm now down to my college weight, and my BMI is now officially in the normal range! I'm down 56 pounds in 8 months.

Getting a little work done on my taxes before heading out to a movie. I know, amazingly fun Saturday night activity.

I gained 7 lbs over Christmas, and planned for that. I knew I'd get back to my regular process this week that I've had a lot of success with over the last several months (lost 47 lbs so far). I felt no guilt about the holiday eating because I've proven to myself I can make progress towards my overall weight goal. I'm…

The first pic was in May of this year, and it was the pic that kicked me into gear to lose weight. The bottom was Christmas Eve. I'm down 48 lbs using MFP for tracking my calories, and working out on a regular basis.

If my kids were acting like that with someone I would absolutely want to know and would completely understand if the situation had become bad enough that a sitter no longer wanted to be a part of it.

Prime rib, roasted maple sweet potatoes, fettuccine alfredo, roasted balsamic brussels sprouts with bacon and pumpkin soup. Dessert is New York cheesecake and caramel apple pie.

I really like Yoplait's greek. I tried Chobani and some others but didn't like the sour taste. Yoplait has more of a standard yogurt flavor, but just thicker and a lot more protein.

I've got a similar story as yours. I'm 45 and I was at 245 when I'd decided it needed to stop. That was 5 months ago and I've lost 42 pounds so far. Tracking my calories on MFP has been the biggest game changer for me. It's helped me make good decisions about what I eat. I also work out 5-6 days a week with rotating every…

At my lowest weight in 11 years, and wearing size 34 pants. 20 lbs to go to goal.

First true fall day here in Arkansas, a little chilly in the office so broke out the pullover.

That's awesome the mindset change you're making. I had a similar realization at the end of May and have dropped 33 pounds so far, with another 27 to go. It really is about changing your thinking about who you are, and integrate healthy living into your core view of yourself, and put systems in place to support that change…

Accidentally bought a fitted shirt a few months ago. Couldn't even button it back then. Pulled it out of the closet today and it fit perfectly.

I use the Apple Watch as well and when I track a workout with the watch I get the same behavior where I will see the workout calories but it will zero out my step calories. Sometimes if I force quit the MFP app on the phone one or two times it will start showing up again, but I haven't been able to consistently fix the…

We switched from margarine to butter a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. I always make sure to track it in my calories for the day and have no issues.

I bought the Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale on Amazon and love it. It uses AAA batteries.

Totally agree, this has been big for me as well. I laid out the goal I'm committed to (185 pounds target weight, losing at least 1.5 per week, minimizing as much muscle loss as possible). Then I set the methods I'm using to meet my goal and committed to those (workout 5 days a week for at least 45 minutes, PR on weights at…

The big change for me is the calorie economy mindset I have now. I'm super aware of how many calories I'm "spending" and always making decisions based on that. I never regret anything I eat, I just always stay aware of the calories I've "spent" that day. Last Friday was my anniversary and my wife and I went to a new…

You've gotten some really great advice here spoken with a tremendous amount of concern and respect. I encourage you to read this thread community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10235545/seeing-the-light-buying-a-food-scale and reaching out to the poster to hear about what brought her to the realization that a food scale…

In the home stretch at the office on this awesome Friday afternoon. Then it's open house for our youngest who starts High School on Monday, then off to celebrate my 22nd wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife.
