I hear you! I just recently got started here, and I can relate. Over the past 6 months or so, I had put on quite a bit of weight and I was eating fairly clean and unprocessed foods. I had discovered that you can still overeat clean, healthy food. I have followed the 80/20 rule for a long time now. Eating clean 80% of the…

Is this your first week? I wouldn't give up just yet. I can understand. I've been here a month. In my first week, I lost 1 pound, which was ok. Obviously was hoping for another 2 maybe 3 pounds for the first week. Then the next week, I lost 2 pounds and I was super excited about it! Week 3, no weight change. Huh. Week 4,…

Great job to both of you!

I was curious when I saw the title of this post. I also was hearing the message of "you don't need to count calories." It's pretty popular in the natural health arena. It's in there with "intuitive eating." I tried it. This is where it got me. I tried just eating healthy and exercising. I'm so wishing I hadn't followed…

Oh my gosh I had no idea the response! You guys are all amazing! It sounds like we all know what needs to be done. We all need to track what we eat. We need to set some goals, and keep our eyes on those goals. We can do it!

I'm just getting started on MFP after a long break also. Years ago, I lost nearly 100 pounds, but I was totally eating all processed diet foods which made me feel like crap. So this time around, I know I want to eat clean, real, whole foods. I feel like I already eat fairly clean, I'm discovering that I was eating too much…

That's great! You can crush the next 100!

Maybe start with one thing at a time. De-stress. Make a schedule. I just started using a day planner this year, and it helps so much to see and visualize what's coming up and what needs to get done. Then maybe just track what you eat. I'm saying this stuff for myself also. Hang in there!

Hello! My name is Trista, and I've just joined the group. I went gluten free about 5-6 years ago now and it pretty much eliminated my IBS symptoms. I look forward to getting to know you guys!

I work in food service at a hospital, taking the patient's meal orders. That's where I learned about the FODMAP diet. After looking into it, I realized I sort of follow a FODMAP diet. Totally unintentional, I was just diagnosed with IBS years ago, and it took a lot of trial and error to find what would work for me. I never…

Hi Shelly! My name is Trista and I can't totally relate about losing weight and then putting it back on. I had lost nearly 100 pounds maybe 10 years ago. Over the years though, it has gradually come back on to where I have gained about half of it back. So now I'm here, ready to make a change! Feel free to friend me, we can…

I love love love the Califia vanilla almond milk creamer. Yum! I usually use 2 tablespoons which I think is 30 calories, and stevia.

What a great visual! I think it really is helpful to see this.

I've had my flex for a year now, and I use it daily. I'm up for a couple new fitbit friends! https://www.fitbit.com/user/29KFSW

That sounds great, I can use the support and encouragement! But will reciprocate of course!

I can relate! 35 years old, looking to lose at least 50 pounds. Maybe more, but 50 is my starting point. My husband and I both work full-time and I'm mom to my 6 year old son. Feel free to friend me!

Thank you!

I'm with you! I lost about 90 pounds about 10 years ago. Over the years a lot of it has slowly crept back on. I'm here looking to get back into a healthy lifestyle! I'm also looking for friends to help motivate and support. Feel free to friend me!
