6 oz baby carrots, 2 servings of TJ's tomato and basil hummus, 1 piece Nature Valley apple crisp, Americano with half & half.

You are done with the scary hard phase (illness) and into recovery there. Just need to take a deep breath and step back into what you know, slowly. The logging, the healthier choices and exercise. You have come SO far and now you are just continuing with that journey. Stay focused on the end goal- you've totally got this!…

First time trying this. I mainly walk but am transitioning to running. My goal for November will be 75 miles.

You guys are making me hungry! I guess it is Thai for us tonight too. Grilled beef salad, green curry with chicken and drunken noodles. Side of rice for hubby - as for me, i will have steamed broccoli with the beef and chicken plus a little taste of the drunken noodles.

That is absolutely fantastic!!!

I think you need to ignore your "friend" and tell him/her when you need feedback, you will ask for it. You definitely are a runner. The best reason to run is simply because you want to! Forget all the other mumbo-jumbo.

100g rotisserie chicken breast, soft boiled egg and slice of low cal toast. Coffee with half&half.

Congratulations on your new perspective and finding your mojo! Sometimes for me, I can think myself out of activity or watching my food intake. I simply do them now and accept it is part of my everyday routine.

Completed W4D1 today - the longer run times are beginning to mess with my head. I don't believe I can make it. *just one more step*

Fantastic results! All your work has paid off tremendously!

I said no to the pumpkin spice M&Ms at Target today. I spent an inordinate amount of time standing in front of it trying to decide. It was one of those Halloween candy packs. I knew I would be in trouble if I brought it home so it was safer to just not go there. I wish they had the mini one serving pack as I would have…

Simply awesome! Congrats

I weigh every 2 weeks. Seeing daily fluctuations would drive me a little nuts.

Fantastic results! Congrats!!

Bravo! Sometime, something just clicks and makes it possible for us to embark on our journey. Wishing you the best.

Walking is my main form of exercise too although I am trying the C25K now. I go for a couple of weeks straight through and then I will feel just really tired with lots of aches in the knee, hip, etc. That's when I know to take the day off, sleep in and feel much stronger to continue with the program the next day. But it…

I work my sweet treats in too. Maybe 1/4 cup of real ice-cream twice a month. I like having some thin cookies with coffee ( Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Snaps - 3 cookies for 65 calories) once a day. Much less often, I will split a slice of cake with hubby. This moderation keeps me sane and on track!

Same here! I started the very day I got the watch. I would never have believed this would be the one thing that would "click" for me. Best thing I have ever purchased.

Dry weight :)

Most food scales have a "tare" feature. Place the empty bowl on the scale, press tare and the scale resets to zero. You then place the food you want to measure in the bowl and measure out the amount you want. For recipes, if you buy prepackaged turkey that comes in 16 oz or 20 oz package, the package tells you exactly how…

You *can* do this. I went from a size 16 to size 12 in 3 months. I started out walking half a mile a day but didn't start tracking food till June. I walk daily and did a 6 mile walk yesterday, a record for me! The way I look at it, I've come too far to let all my effort and sweat go to waste. There is the occasional day I…

You can add me. I am active daily :)

Simply fantastic! You are an inspiration!

Mine is Ozeri from Amazon. Would never ever be without a food scale in my life again. Good luck!

I am on daily too. I have been logging for 52 days and have lost a little over 14 lbs so far. My doctor wants me to lose another 15 lbs but I am targeting an extra 40 lbs instead. Have been mainly walking since April but have not seen significant results until I logged and monitored my intake. Would love to help and be…

PB2 is divine added to nonfat Greek yogurt. Sometimes I add 1 tsp of honey as well. I eat that as a snack or as dessert. I saw PB2 sold at Target when I was there yesterday.

I would not be without my Ozeri scale. Really makes me understand the true amount in a serving. I rarely use cup measurements. Less messy when measuring out yogurt, for example, when you can null out the weight of the container to add yogurt, null out again and add berries by weight.
