Hey! I'm doing 21 day fix (just the exercise). I'm pre-diabetic so I'm on my own nutrition plan (although it's similar to the 21 day fix minus the tiny containers).

Hey! I just started Beachbody on Demand. No Shakeo or supplements, but I'm liking the workouts!! Starting with 21 day fix then moving onto Liift4 in October.

We have similar stats although I'm a couple years older. I'm 29, was diagnosed just a few months ago, but have probably had PCOS for years. I weigh about 220 and I am working towards under 200 as a short term goal and around 150 as a long term goal. I also have a fear of failure and oddly enough, a fear of success. I…

Ugh. Weight gain for sure. I'm at my heaviest right now and I got diagnosed about 2 months ago. Metoformin has stopped the gaining, but I'm still struggling with losing. I met with a dietitian who put me on a diabetic diet and I'm working to stick to about 120 carbs/day (not unreasonable, but hard to break habits!!) I also…

I'm in

I want in!

Just starting metformin. I'm glad to find this forum and see some positive things. I haven't had any side effects yet, but I'm doing a month long taper to get up to my dosage.

Diagnosed yesterday. I started metformin and will be using a low glycemic/gluten free diet to manage my PCOS. Doc gave me a goal of 10% weight loss in 6 months which I think is totally doable (although not easy). Let's do this!!

I have my doctor's appt. to find out if I have PCOS today. They also tested my hormone and vitamin levels along with my thyroid. I'm hoping for some answers. I've been sticking to low carb all week and the scale finally moved so I'm going to keep that up no matter the diagnosis.

New diagnosis here. I've always battled weight but since going off of birth control I've gained like CRAZY. I'm not happy about it but I'm glad that my symptoms presented because it means that I can take care of what's going on with my body. Back on the pill and I don't want any other meds.

I stay full when I have a balanced plate with good representation from all macros. Healthy fat, some protein, and some carbs. I get hungry all the time and crave carbs, too so I have to make sure I'm eating carbs that will digest a bit slower rather than reaching for sweets or white flour/sugar. That's just what works for…

I'm 28 and hubs and I don't want to even start trying for about 5 years. However, having healthy habits and weight in check before baby is very important to me. I don't think my body could carry a baby in a healthy way right now.

I'm in. New to the challenge. 11/2/17 Me: 0 The Binge: 1 Today is a new day!!

Same!! I can't get off the binge train right now. I feel aweful, bloated, and out of control. I'll be your friend. We can do this!

Oh and I'm 207 right now, fighting to get back on track.

I'm 5'3" and muscular. I ski and hike and have always been...dense. My lowest sustainable weight was about 150. I was healthy, active, had a healthy body fat % according to my doc and wore a size 6. The BMI said I wasn't in my healthy range. That's why there are so many ways to measure health-not just the scale
-
Thanks for this link. Even when I weigh a lot less than I do now, my frame is "broad." To the OP- I think your muscle composition matters, too. I have a body fat analysis done with calipers when I get closer to a healthy weight. 150 is a sustainable, healthy weight for me even though the BMI says that puts me at…

Amazing!! Keep up the great progress and the positive attitude! This is so inspiring. I'm restarting for the millionth time and this is the first time I'm doing a plan that feels "realistic."
-
And with all of that said...35-40 lbs may be perfectly realistic for you!
-
Be realistic is great advice and there's something powerful in taking a pause. You won't lose the weight and keep it off overnight without starving yourself. I know some others have commented with similar answers. That said, have you thought about getting a body fat analysis done? I'm 5'3'' and doctor approved "healthy" at…

Under 200 is amazing!

We can do it! Thanks for responding!
-
Thank you!! You too

At 1 lb/week it gives me 1800 calories per day!! That seemed like way too much- but maybe I should just trust it and set my profile so I don't eat back any exercise calories? Maybe that's a good place to start and then reevaluate in a month like suggested, though. Thank you!

Where do you find that setting?
