I agree with SuelnAz, doing more strength training (and progressively increasing your weights) will make you see changes quicker than just doing a lot of cardio. Also HIIT (High interval training) and Tabata workouts are great to see results and burn calories. Again, combine it with a healthy diet :-)

Squats are great, but for those with knee/quads problems, diagonal butt kicks (changing knee angles and squeezing your butt) are great too :-)
