Where do you buy these? I don't see them on Amazon.

Another vote for quest chips! I will try them, thanks c:

Ah, I love these at Halloween. In my family we roast the seeds we get from carving our jack-o-lantern. I didn't even think of those. Thanks!

These sound great!! Thanks for sharing the recipe too c:

I hear you. A lot of people are suggesting that, too. My issue is that if I buy them / have them in the house, they become my go to snack. They're very addicting for me!! So Id like to find something healthier (I'm not too concerned about calories, necessarily) to focus my... Obsessive snacking? haha Although of course…

This is a good idea!! I'll give it a try c:

Which is why I always put butter on my popcorn, haha Resist the chips!!

Me too!! I'd take fried / salty / crunchy over sweets any day. I like the idea of having snack sized bags around, although I think it would be easier if I had kids because the supply would go down faster than I can reach for them? Haha I can't stand rice cakes for some reason, but I'll rediscover Triscuits on my next…

I might give these a try. What brand do you like? Also thumbs up for "aggressive snacker" (me too c:)

This is a great suggestion!! Sounds super tasty. I feel like I may have a small issue with grains as well: I notice a difference in my skin, and I tend to be sleeper throughout the day. I was thinking about trying Paleo but... Cake... xD

Ha!! One would think so, but it's (amazingly?) enough for me to maintain at 1200 calories a day :) I buy/eat mostly veggies, cheeses and egg and I only eat out once a week at most. I eat very little meat, which isn't by choice, but maybe it's a good side effect? I could sure go for a rib eye steak though haha

This line!! Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions (I really enjoy the Calbee pea snaps, too!!) I think it is a good idea, and some have suggested, if I don't think of these as "substitutes" because that mentality might get a bit frustrating. Oddly enough, I also really like mashed potatoes, but there's something about…

Hello there!! I'm a recently graduated grad student so I feel your pain as far as time and budget are concerned (I currently live off $20 a week for food). Feel free to add me if you'd like- my diary is open :)

One from me as well!

This is me, too. My weird habits are due to my past graduate student status, but they should become more consistent as I enter the workforce. Feel free to add me!! :)

These are very close to my go to's. Sometimes I'll have an egg with about half a cup of vegetables mixed in (zucchini and/or tomato) and a slice of grain-packed bread with one pat of butter. That's usually my "big" breakfast- it's very filling!!

Yes!! For some it may, but many of us have to watch what we eat, etc. I do sometimes feel, as others have mentioned, that being called "thin" is sometimes a backhanded compliment, but I prefer to stay positive about these things. Any intended negativity is something inside them- OP should be proud of reaching her goals!!

Keep going strong on your journey!! I'll add c:
