  • I am eating food I like!! And it's working!! I know my body and I lived my entire adult life on fairly low carb diet.... got married started eating my husband's carb heavy diet and gained 50 lbs. And of course you can't eat 5000 cal day of protein and expect to lose weight! I count calories also keeping it around 1000-1500…

  • I am also looking for motivation and encouragement.....someone to vent to on bad days without driving my friends crazy! My last A1C was elevated and my mother was diabetic. I need to take this seriously, lose some weight and control my carb intake. I have about 30 lbs to lose.
  • I'm doing the Dukan Diet. Still get to eat carbs in the form of dairy unlike Atkins, even in the initial phase. And please No Crappy remarks !!!!   • Duh!! I know it's water weight !!!!! Still lost it overnight and feel so much better. First day of diet!! And yes I did lose 8.4 pounds overnight.... I ate until I was full yesterday , had total of 40 carbs and drank 2.5 liters of water and still lost...... Geez this is supposed to be support here.... I'm out!!!
  • Feeling same way. I have finally found some motivation after beach vacation. Started Dukan diet yesterday and lost 8.4 pounds first day!!! Yay.!!
  • I started attack phase yesterday..... It was easy to follow. It's really not that complicated. Now, I just returned from an all inclusive resort where I ate whatever I wanted and drank way too much alcohol so my weight was way up above normal but I Lost 8.4 pounds in first day!!!!!! WOW!!! And mind you I'm not morbidly…
