I was also given 80 grams.

Have you tried doing a reset? I did that and it helped me tremendously. Go to bariatric eating on Facebook or their website. It really does help. You can do this!!!!

Congrats on the weight loss. Your doing great so far. Hopefully, you will get approved soon! Best of luck.

RNY in Oct of 2016. HW 367. Lowest weight 168, for about a week. I stayed around 173 for the two years, then my addiction crept back in my life and I was eating bread, potatoes and eating more than I should. I still don’t tolerate sugar well but I nibbled on it. Last week, I was up to 187. No more. I worked too hard. I did…

I’ve gained 14 lbs 2.5 years out. I quit tracking food and got back on carbs and sweets. I still can’t eat a lot but the wrong things are going in my body. I also quit working out. I’m thoroughly mad at myself and started today to get back on track. I lost from 364 to 168. I’m currently at 183. I don’t ever want to be over…

Congratulations on your surgery! It was a turning point for me in my life and I can honestly say all the changes have been positive (except the loose skin). I agree that you must follow your doctor's guidelines to be successful, but log, log, log everything. It is honestly the difference in losing and gaining. I had RNY…

Today I have on a slim legged pair of size 14 black dress pants. I don't ever remember wearing a 14! I think I skipped those sizes in 7th grade and went straight to plus size wear. I'm sure a lot of overweight people can tell you what they weighed each year in school. I can, because we were weighed in front of the class…

I've been very lucky to have lost significantly for my 1st 10 months. I'm down 157 lbs with 26 more to go (according to my doctor). I would love to lose 25 besides that, but the loose skin issues are definitely already a problem and probably contribute to me being heavier. I have slowed the last couple of months, but have…

Lost 16 instead of 10 this month so...go me! I didn't join a gym, but I am walking 5 miles a day, 7 days a week. I fell short with my God and family though......

You all look incredible! I am so proud of all of you. Great accomplishment!!!!!!

I use the Fairlife fat free milk and use 4 oz. to 4 oz. of coffee with Splenda. I steam and froth the milk and make a latte. It's divine!! I kill two birds with one stone and get double the protein from the Fairlife. Before surgery I was a black coffee drinker, but I can't do that anymore.

I totally agree, rpyle111. Use your pre-op time to your advantage. The more weight you lose will only help you reach your goal sooner. Nothing passes my lips that is not recorded! I have to be that hard on myself. It has proved to be the key to my success so far. Good Luck!!!

Start preparing for my 1st 5K in June. Join a gym to start working on strength and core. Lose 10 lbs this month. Spend more time focusing on the important things in life, God and family.

I have a tough time with the Vitamins as well. I'm doing the Flintstones chewable with no iron, and as far as calcium goes, I'm drinking 1 1/2 cups of Fair Life fat free milk a day in my decaf coffee. (Also the Fair Life has loads more Protein than regular milk!) I also take Biotin and B12. I just finished 3 month labs…

What an inspiration you are!!!! It is great to see a message from someone that continues "to win" and get the big picture - that this is a lifetime commitment. It makes me feel really positive about the future. Thanks so much for sharing.

You always seem like Superman to me!! You will get through this and re-focus. Juggling the kiddo will take some getting use to, but I know you will come up with a plan. You have been a great inspiration to me!!!!!

My preop was just like yours and it was not easy. The 1st three days were tough but after that, it got easier. Just keep your eye on the prize. It goes by quickly......
