It is frustrating to see how many calories are in some healthy foods. This is a reason why some people don't lose weight they assume its all natural our whatever. But you have to track the calories, it really works. Start small you can do it.

I would also save to give it time. And that is comes in waves. Some days I am famished and could eat everything...other days I am not so much. Probably not really advice in there, expect that it is normal and will come and go.

For a low calorie meal I go to a green salad, with some protein like egg and a light dressing. Good luck.

Some days I feel like I am starving and some days not, I have been at it for4months now and still this cycle.

I find drinking tea hot or cold sweetened with no calorie sweetener works best for me.

Hey I started at 250 now I am at 220. Setting the small goals is the only way to go, 25 pounds was my first goal to lose now onto getting at 199.

Limiting my white starches bread, white rice, pasta etc... They always leave me feeling hungry earlier than if I choose whole wheat or if I limit my portion and up the amount of protein.

I never have this problem, I always want to eat.

Any vacation I go on I don't log early bite like normal but I try to be conscience of what I eat, think is this really delicious. So no mcdonalds etc... My mind set would not be a free for all cuz I would end up over eating and probably have a stomach aches most days. Have fun!

I agree with a previous poster that about days 3-10 are bad. Feeling hungry all the time. And now that I have been following MFP since January every now and then I get one of those days I am insatiable. So yes you push past it and realize its not real hunger. I also had to stop watching the cooking channel :wink:

Going on a hike at the Smokey Mountains. My family went there 4 years ago and I couldn't go along but I am getting fit now so next time I can take the challenge.

Pasta is so high in calorie even when you look at OG nutrition menu the lowest are dishes without pasta.

You need to log everything you eat, it can be overwhelming art first but you learn so much about where you have bad eating habits. You only need to eat at calorie deficit no need to eliminate carbs. Good luck

Nope I can't take the day off totally. Usually only one meal on Saturday but I take zumba on Saturday so usually not under my calorie goal with exersice added.

I love making large pot of soup or chili at home and use the leftovers for lunch. I really prefer a hot lunch, it feels more satisfying and of course soup keeps me fuller for a longer time.

I have to plan for a snack after dinner. When I first began the sugar cravings were terrible. I had to wean myself off sugar. But I still need that sweet taste after dinner. Another possibility is the clothes you were wearing or the time of day, also considering like you said water weight, time of the month.... Steel cut oats almost every day, keeps me feeling full. I do have a snack before lunch but I notice that is most days when I am at work sitting at my desk. When I am home I don't need the snack, but snacking at my desk has been a habit for a while now, so I just fit it in my calories for the day.

I can't have a cheat meal or day, its the wrong mind set for me. I have a party I eat light before hand, exersice that day and log what I eat. Even if I go over for the day. I am totally going to hunt this down, mmmm cilantro But as far as low fat ranch Aldi is my favorite, really don't knock it until you tried it. Light, NOT fat free.

Change your MFP to activity level to sedentary include your height and weight, eat those calories and you will be good.
