Not for my 5 lb mini-goals, but I do for milestones. For hitting -100 lbs I bought a stained glass table lamp; something I fell in love with but would never have normally bought.

I have to take medication for my thyroid, but have lost 100 lbs anyway. I still have a long way to go. My goal is 2 lbs per week; actual losses average to 1.5 lbs. While it could be partially due to the thyroid, it seems more likely to me that I'm overestimating my exercise calories. Honestly, I decided I'm happy with the…

I saw my doctor today for the first time in 65 lbs and he's thrilled. He told me I must be working hard. :)

I've reached both my last mini-goals of losing 100 lbs and running a mile. My next goals are losing 105 lbs and running 3 miles.

MFP gives me 1310 currently, but I also eat all my exercise calories normally. I've got a lot to lose yet so have an aggressive goal of 2 lbs.

Yay, you! Even without those last few ounces it's a great feeling.

I went for a walk with a co-worker today. She asked if I wanted to turn back where I always had to last summer and I said no. What a difference the last 30 lbs has made! So much less pain.

I didn't know anyone ever shaved behind their knees. How did I not know about this? I'm invoking old lady rights to not bother with shaving very often anyway. :)

I'm overly cautious, but because of my fear of injury, I'm only running twice a week. I'm still seeing steady progress and no problems with my troublesome joints. Stretching has helped with post-run pain immensely.

You did try new batteries first?

I tried Libra but didn't like how the trend line was graphed. I use Monitor Your Weight. Simple design, still free.

How short a time-frame clothes will fit you. I'd saved all my clothes as I grew out of them. Now that I'm going back down, I get to wear new 'old' clothes. The problem is that I only work in the office two days a week now and that's not long enough to wear everything before it's too big. Monday I couldn't figure out why I…

I just ran my first whole mile (in my entire life). Now 3.8 lbs to hit -100...

My Concept 2 arrives tomorrow. Super excited to add another cardio option to my schedule.

Woot! Finally reached my -95lbs. Next up...-100!

I have two mini goals that feel like major milestones I expect to reach this month: 1. Run a mile 2. Lose 100 lbs I'm seriously excited about both.

Another one! My fasting blood sugar this morning was 90. N = 1 proof that Type 2 diabetes can improve just from weight loss.
-
Today I ran for 10 minutes. I felt like Wonder Woman; then I felt silly because someone who can barely run 10 minutes isn't exactly superhero material. Still, I'm proud of myself.

Last year I struggled to string my recurve bow. Yesterday I took it out for the first time this year and it was effortless. Weight training pays off!

My mom told me today that she no longer worries about my health.

It's on my wish list. I tried to talk my boss into selling me his Concept2 that he never uses (sacrilege!), but no luck.

Ditto on this advice. I also suffered from plantar fasciitis along with back, knee and achilles pain; the recumbent bike is the method of exercise that I've always been able to do (and enjoy). The good news is a lot of the pain goes away with weight loss. In the meantime, invest in very good shoes (I used Kuru brand) and…

Just ordered my RoadID. Thanks for the link.

Binge watching tv shows. Lately, Grimm.

When I was losing hair it was a symptom of my hypothyroidism.

Two weeks ago I jogged for two minutes and felt like I was dying. Today I did five intervals of two minutes and I'm still alive!

I finally reached my 90 lbs lost mini-goal. On to the next one of 95 lbs.

This is definitely me, although I never really consider myself attractive. I'm drawn to men who are larger than life, like John Candy or Brian Blessed.
-
My impression was the OP is hoping for reassurance that he will become more attractive after losing weight.

Does anyone else woosh on measurements? I check mine once a month and was discouraged to have increased by half an inch all over at the end of February. Measured again today and the extra is gone plus a little more; except my calves which I'm just going to pretend is muscle. Lol
