No, I didn't unfortunately. I had the analog for a while and someone recommended a digital one so I was already at/around 175 when I bought it. I hear the digital ones can have several issues and factors that cause issues but I like that it has water, body fat measurements o nit. now..idk how accurate that is. One day it…

Currently, I weigh 175 on analog. 181 on Digital. Odd thing is that one time I weighed exactly the same on both..never happened again though. the digital one is telling me I weigh much more.

One shake is one serving. Not a can though. It's 11oz

Thanks! It's only been a little over a month so I guess I am expecting too much. Seems like I lost a lot quicker and then hit a stonewall. Thanks again for the kind words. Hopefully, I can get to where you are at as well. That..helped a lot. No sarcasm. I appreciate all the input I got. Then I got several who may not have…

Well, I thought I was doing decently at it until the odd weight gain and so far while a lot has helped here I do have plenty people doubting my intake which is making me feel like I have to somehow eat less than I am.
-
I misspoke on the slimfast. I did a while ago. Lately just drinking Advant Edge Carb control. 100 calories. Some days I do Premier protein which is 160 (Well according to what everything online says about itbut I am being told it may not be accurate in this thread).
-
Can this thread be locked? I got plenty of help already.

Okay to elaborate more, My 500ish days are just days when I do 3 shakes. The other days 2 shakes and just chicken with rice and black beans some days as my dinner (Some nights I skip on black beans). Your statement would be true for my situation if every day I was eating different stuff. Believe it or not..my diet is plain…

I think we can close the thread for the time being. I understand that multiple people brought up getting a food scale. I will for the one constant meal I usually have. I doubt I am going over 1540 but everyone seems to insist I am based off two small shakes and one chicken meal.
-
By 'some days' I was referring to somedays I only do about 500 calories. Not that I go over. I make sure I don't. But okay I guess since I am not weighing my food and the nutrition value on it I guess is also incorrect so my shakes aren't 100 and 160 (I switch between two premade ones) ? I appreciate the added input but I…

Will do for sure! Thanks again everyone! I would have assumed that many pounds would be some severe binge eating but maybe the weight at 169 wasn't accurate? Ahh I just stressed myself. I am stopping now lol. Going to continue the track I am in and see in a couple weeks where I am at. Thanks again all for taking the time…
-
3 days. Saturday weighed in at 169. Sunday-Tuesday I went up to 175-181
-
Always weigh in the morning. Usually, use the bathroom before weighing (It's my way of cheating) lol.
-
Man do I hate the body sometimes lol..didn't know now that would cause water retention. The more I know the more stressful it seems. I just wanted to eat less and lose weight. Maybe at 165 I will just start strength exercising and let the stress go.
-
When I eat a snack it's usually just a banana which I log. It says it's about 100 calories. I always estimate and put 125 just-in-case. I usually round up. I may log a food and not even finish it but I log the full calories. As far as when I started to gain weight..hmm the last couple of days? Sunday-Tuesday. I was 169…

I get sick of the meals some days but just deal with it. Also, it's a premier protein shake. Nothing added. As it is bottled I drink it. Some days slimfast.
-
Thanks for the help all. I will weigh myself in a couple of weeks and see how it goes. I will try to be less miserable on my food but hard to when you let yourself go -.- used to weigh 135 when I was 18. Now 28 and I have a "dad body" lol. Please don't take offense if you're a dad and are fit. It was a joke..that joke…

I do eat that just about daily. Always have several meals already made. I am aware of all the post that I need to now get a food scale. But I am eating the same thing practically every day. My last meal of day is not 1200+ so I must not be going over. Also someone asked, I only drink water and my shake. Not fruit shake.…
-
I have been lied to my whole life! LOL I was already told growing up eating before going to bed can make you fat so I always avoided.
-
cortisol? The steroid? Sorry not understanding this post much. I somedays just don't feel like eating is all. Or by the time I am really hungry the day has gone by and it's already like 11pm and don't want to eat and sleep for fear of gaining.
-
Thanks for all the info! So far everyone in here helped. Except the "too long didn't read, eat less" post lol.
-
I'll take that advice. from the sounds of it the weight change happens and shouldn't worry too much as long as I am still in a deficit. Not going to take the advice of eating much less than I already am. Seems like I would just end up binging eventually.
-
So below 1500 (some days just drink 3 shakes and it's about 500 calories) but still not in a calorie deficit? Hmm ok.
-
Eating more just makes me feel guilty. I feel bad enough when I eat up to my calories on the weekend. You are lifting though and so your body is burning more calories. I am not so I don't think I can compare.
-
My shakes are not powder ones. I drink the protein ones that come bottled already. Some days it's Slimfast and other days it's premier.
-
Wow so much information here and at work so excuse the delays. As far as the chicken question..it's just boiled. I went boring lol. Boiled and nothing else added. From the water, it is shredded and served. I sometimes put pico on it (1 teaspoon) just for flavor but that is it. I am a nazi when it comes to logging..(can I…
-
HA! Right?
-
Thanks everyone for the input! Now to answer some of the questions but without quoting. My scale is just in the bathroom with hardwood floors. Thanks for the link to food scales. But it sounds like your suggesting I am taking in much more calories than I am. Let's say I am. I have two shakes throughout the week daily.…
-
Okay please elaborate then on weighing food. I am measuring it so I make sure I am not overeating. What else should I be doing? I know it's well over my calorie salary for the day. I hardly even eat up to it unless weekends.

Honestly, I just Google the topic and find articles of it. Some have been on the body lifting forum which most of the time seems like nothing but trolls. Still, I read an article from a professor supposedly saying if it was that easy to lose weight he would not have a job (Eating less then you burn).
