Same here. But through my research on trying to figure out what was wrong I found this group. That makes me happy, as I didn't realize there was a fitbit group on MFP

Me too! Feel free to add me :)

5'1 here! The struggle is real! I tried every dang diet fad out there, and either maintained or gained. Had two beautiful boys and gained 50 lbs. Ugh..I was super resentful when I came to MFP and learned that I would have to stick to 1200 to lose. So I tried that for awhile, and just maintained. Gave up after awhile and…

Pear nectar really works for my son, who also struggles with this issue.

Wow. Really???

Thank you for the tips! I am implementing them immediately. God I hope they go away quickly.

Wow! I know I'm not the OP, but thank you for this comment. This is very interesting to me, as I had not heard of any of this. I am off to learn more about insulin resistance and sensitivity now. I crave carbs ALL of the time... I tried a low carb diet once, but was unsuccessful but after learning more about my BMR, I know…

Congrats on the new bundle! :) Mom of two boys here, oldest is 6 and my youngest is 13 months. I've been on MFP for about a month, so still pretty new here!

W1D2 completed this morning! I thought me being able to complete the first one was a fluke, but I did it again! Yaaay! Prior to this, the only running I think I've ever done was running from my neighbors dog. Happy but sore!

Thank you for the tips, guys! I'm happy to find women who have worked through it and healed DR. This shows me that it is possible. It's very disconcerting to constantly have your tummy pushing through your abs during workouts. Then I read if you do abwork that makes the "triangle", it can force the muscles further apart..…

My abs were bulging when I was doing my floor work today, forming like a V. I was working out in a shorter shirt than normal, so I have no idea how long this has been happening, but it freaked me out. Thanks for the tip, I will try pilates. I live in BFE, so no local classes. Hopefully pilates will help. BTW, my second was…

Did you just start or increase activity? Your muscles could be retaining water as they heal.

Wow, I totally misunderstood the title of this thread. Bummer

Oh thank God! I have never been so happy to suck at math, lol. Using my TDEE gives me more hope, as its 1857. Which puts me at over a lb a half week, after subtracting my calories in. I know there are other variables, ie. Water retention, etc that could affect weight. I was just trying to understand my weight loss…

Hmm my phone cut off some of my message, but basically is my math right?? I have 45 lbs to lose, so this just got real to me. Is there a way to raise your bmr so you burn more, or are you stuck with it?
-
Mine told me the same thing.

I completely agree. That's why my next sentence was "focus on making sure your tracking is on point". To me that is a better starting point than blindly cutting calories or eating less. I'm not sure what her current intake is, and cutting calories could put her at an unhealthy target. JMO

This is the story of my life right now, so I feel your pain. Except I have much more to lose. I'm staying within 3-4 lbs of 184, sometimes lower then it goes back up. I'm only 5'2, so my net is recommended to be 1200, which is what I shoot for daily. I started with exercise first, going from completely sedentary to doing…

No biggie! It happens to.the best of us. Get up and get back on. You can do this!

My favorite way to eat Greek yogurt is with low sodium ranch seasoning. It makes an awesome veggie dip. I get Fage 0% for the extra protein and lower fat

Does it still count as baby weight if my son is a year old? Lol... congrats on your weight loss, that is awesome!
