Pizza! OK off track.. I did good, had some wonderful Bar-b-q lean sliced beef & a baked potato with just a little sour cream & chives. I agree it is a lifestyle & I am getting really good at it. I feel like I am getting some energy that I have been lacking for years. Thanks for the support, It does make a big difference..

Ended up having nice lean sliced beef form a popular Bar-b-q place, It was wonderful. Shared a slice of chocolate cake with my husband.. So good.. Went a little over but I am OK with it :)

Hi everyone, New here.. I am Deb from Texas.. My goal is 50 lbs.. Just turned 61 yesterday :p Been doing MFP for 42 days & down 14lbs :) So that's me!

Days away from 61, Started MFP 35 days ago, down about 15 lb. goal is to loose another 40 to 50. It's hard for me to do much more than walk due to a chronic illness.. I really want to eat Fried Chicken for my birthday, but don't know if I will :/ Would it be bad to go off my diet one day?

My 'AH-HA' moment was realizing I am going to be 61 very soon, I was over weight & wanted to be healthier so I could live long.. I also have a goal of wearing a swimsuit next year when my husband & I celebrate our 42 Anniversary by taking a cruise. Very happy that 30 days in I have lost 14 pounds.. 40 to 50 more to go!

I want to wear a swimsuit on my first ever cruise next year :) Also I have health issues & hope I will feel better..

I am happy to report I got my walk in this evening.. I rested a lot today after shopping & felt good so I walked.. A good rest is always helpful with Fibro .. My body knows it has Fibro & CFS but my brain seems to forget part of the time. you would think that after 20+ years it would accept it.. :)

Today I didn't walk, I feel bad I didn't but I am just having too much pain to get out there.. After a hour of grocery shopping & doing some other stuff I am too worn out.. Will try to at least get in a 1/2 mile this evening. So good to know there are others here with Fibro, CFS & other chronic illnesses. I don't feel so…

I dream I can run, But awake no way! My pain level has been bad today, I push to walk my mile every morning & most evenings 1/2 mile. MFP makes it easy to watch my food & it's easy to stick to..

Wow, that's great! I admit I overdid in the start, I actually started making changes in my diet before I found MFP & this has helped me stick to those changes. I do have days where I drag myself out to walk . My husband walks with me even though he doesn't need to loose a ounce. Support seems to be key..

Thanks, I guess I just want to see something different in my body sooner.. I am eating as much as I can as I am not that hungry. I am not measuring myself, just weighing in too much I think,Decided to only weigh once a week & not everyday now..
