5'4" here, currently 123, looking to get to 118. Any smaller and my race times start to suffer. Always looking to add friends. It's tough to see all my other friends get calorie allowances of 1400+ while I sit here at 1200.

You will be fine. I ran a half on a long run of 8 miles before. Did I PR? No, but I finished with plenty of time to spare. Walk through the aid stations and take breaks when needed.

I'm not sure what kind of workouts you're looking for but Rockwall has a chapter of Moms Run This Town. You can find them on Facebook. Lots of active ladies who meet up for walking and running. You don't have to be a mom either. I'm a member of the Allen/McKinney chapter a little further north. :-)

I log in daily. Run 6 days/wk, trying to slim down for racing season. Anyone can add me

I run every day but Wednesday, anywhere from 4 to 13 miles. Tuesdays are speed work days and Saturday and Sunday are usually long runs. Then 1-2 days of strength training
