Hi. My name is Michelle. I turn 50 this year. I've been on MFP for a long time. I am pretty active. I do strength training cycling and hiking. Pretty much at my goal weight. I just had a partial hysterectomy on Thursday so I'm sidelined for a while which I hate but I'm hoping I will feel better not having all the fibroid…

I think I'm going to start over again as well. My day off is typically Tuesday though some weeks I have to move it.

I know. First time I ever started a program start to finish and it felt good. I may just start the entire program over and increase my weights. Congrats on finishing!

Anyone finish the program? I am finishing up week 7. I have stuck with it as written. I enjoy it. I like the variety. Has my body changed as much as I had hoped? No but I did see change and I was already pretty fit. For basically 35 minute workouts I'm impressed. Especially with my abs. How much this program Toned my abs…

In so sorry. My husband has knee issues as well. I hope you are feeling great soon.
-
Thank you. I'm really sticking to the program. Maybe not the nutrition part but otherwise sticking to it. My eye is bad but it will heal in time.

Starting month 2 today. I have a broken blood vessel in my eye and I'm wondering if it's from heavy weight. Maybe straining too much. I've never had one before. I'm enjoying the program. Love the variety and I'm hoping to be able to push harder being more comfortable with it. Have a great day :)

I'm in the same boat. I will finish it too because I do like it. And I've got to do something. My husband is in week 2. He was doing nothing except riding his bike and that was a few months ago. So maybe he will see a bigger change. Plus he needs to lose 30 or so pounds.

How is everyone doing? I'm almost finished with week 4. Not sure if I'm physically seeing changes I had hoped. But I started after getting to my goal weight and had already been working out on a regular basis. I am thinking maybe for the first time in my life I may be seeing some definition in my abs! Even though I had…

I agree. I have hand weights up to 10 lbs. I only use selectechs when I use heavier than 10.
-
I start week 4 tonight! It's flying by and I'm really enjoying it. And, my husband started it this week too :) we just have one set of selectechs so we have to work out separately but I prefer to work out alone anyway.

Welcome! I too have done many beach body workouts but this is the first Time I've ever committed to actually doing the program as written. I really like it too. And those pistol squats are killer!
-
Thanks! I have plenty of cardio workouts I could use.
-
Two days in to week three. I'm the most sore I've been since starting. I'm just hurting. Maybe I'm pushing too hard. Maybe I need to not do so Much jumping.
-
I think you're right. My arms are different as well :)
-
Anyone else have different size thighs? Lol. My left is a half inch smaller than my right.
-
So anyone who has tried Masters cardio is it worth $15? I see it on eBay.
-
I know. I'm wishing that as well.
-
I bet it's a bonus one? I personally bought the basic program and I don't think I have it.
-
I know. And I am sore. I needed it.
-
I'm using today as a rest day. I've logged 9 straight workouts. I don't want a rest day but I know I need one. I'm really enjoying this program. Have a great day :)
-
Glad you're feeling better. And 5.75 inches is amazing! Congrats!

Just wondering if all of you use all the equipment in the workouts or modify. I don't do pull ups. I use the resistance band. I also don't use the bench. I have one but it's older and wobbly. I do have a step bench. I was a step aerobics instructor back in the day. Does anyone even know what that is anymore? Lol. Anyway.…

Finally finished week one! I'm really enjoying the variety in this program. Total body hammer was so good. I did go a little too heavy a couple times. I didn't do the abs because I got home late and didn't want to make my family wait any longer for dinner. I'll add abs tonight which looks like cardio which is my least…

That's amazing! Great job
-
Congrats! That's awesome! Can't wait to try them :)

Saturday was my rest day. Sunday I headed to my basement home gym to do speed hammer and found my basement had flooded. What a mess. So I grabbed a P90x workout and did it in my living room since I wasn't sure what Speed Hammer was or what I needed. Hoping tonight I will get it completed. Still good and sore from p90x…

Is anyone actually using the portion control containers? Today is the first day I actually looked at the containers and plan. To me, simply measuring my food seems easier so I was curious if anyone is using them and what they think. I can see a benefit to the smaller containers for things like dressings and cheeses as I…

Wow that's fantastic! 4.5 inches is great. Great job!

Wow. Halfway through. That's great! Honestly I haven looked much at the nutrition plan. I've always worked out and my diet has been basically the same for a while. I didn't expect to be this hungry. I will take a look though. Thanks!
