I'm in - even though it is summer here in Australia and very hot. Dosnt matter as its still January to April. I will be getting ready for my Winter.

Ive change my thinking - breakfast is just another meal - so I eat what I want and not the traditional menu, and LCHF as well.

Absolutely no way. If I eat more than 70g carbs I feel really sick now, lethargic and cannot stop cravings - too dangerous. Im on 25g daily and may go to 40 for a special event but thats it. It took me a month to get back into ketosis after the 70g one day stint. All about learning about our body and how we phsycologically…

None normally, but occasional mouthful only of someone elses desert. I cannot face a whole serve and stop at that. But dont feel deprived with only a mouthful so feeling ok. Actually I dont really miss desert now.

Search for fat bomb receipes. I have lots of ebooks with various flavors. They are mainly combination of coconut oil, and/or butter and/or cream cheese with additional flavors like peanut butter, chocolate, blueberry etc. I make a small batch & get 24 serves of a peanut butter cocao one. They are frozen & then eaten as…

Yep I test first thing in mornings. Love that I have a way of tracking in only a 24 hour period. I get the tick of approval each morning on how I went the day before, or motivation to make that day count.

Only 5lb from this mini goal - thanks for the challenge - many are getting there - well done

Good reading everyone's choices. Thanks to you all so far.

Wow everyone has fitbits so far. Does it worry you it is only Splash proof, cannot wear in shower or swimming :-(

Good for you

Just a post or a picture is really not enough to show how much this means to obviously you but also to all of us. Glad we can acknowledge you and share your joy. You are starting another chapter in your journey that many overweight adults may never experience. You are changing the statistics of those branded over weight.…

Whether you just troll & post little or are active, I agree with every word above. Everyone is understanding, open and transparent. Thanks for educating me on this weird & wonderful WOE

Ditto.

You are very very low carb at moment. I'm aiming for 25 but hit 35 or 40 a few days a week. Don't up to 100, try for a month at 50g which is nearly 3 times your goal now and see how it works. I have still lost weight and stayed in ketosis at 50g so it maybe the best of both worlds for you. Sending you love.

This is such a good article. Thanks Dan. Surprised that scales show results from 2 weeks ago. I have always considered something like this is the case as we invest in our body and it will have a long lasting effect, not just what has happened in the last week since weighing. I'm sure that the effect of what we do is not…

Well done

I've read a fair bit on keto stix. Some people take AGES to go positive on the stix. Or will never get a reading, cannot remember why just remember thinking I'm lucky it happened for me like a text book. I've seen some posts where they don't worry about a stix result because they know they are positive from the smell and…

I'm finding it is true for my woe. I only eat when im hungry. Most days i have 3 meals & no snacks. Im very satisfied and not earto ng for the sake of it. First time in 40 years!!!!! Sometimes I won't have breakfast til 11am or lunch til 3pm when brecky was at 8am, and same theory for dinner. I am just not hungry after…

Time to adjust yes. But to speed it along I have lots of water and make sure I get all if not more of my fat allowance, keep protein good but be tight on carbs. Watch over exerting yourself with excessive exercise, but do say a weight/strength session but don't up the reps. The longer you are on this, I found my body…

Love this thread

@Sunny_Bunny_ I could re+write your post exactly for my WOE. 4 months into this and I'm becoming what I read.

There is threads here for recipes and one for pictures of food to inspire you. One good low carb web site for low carb receipes is newimage.club or Google for many more. Get lots of MFP friends, comment on forums and log log log. You can do this with friends all over the world. Great to see you here.

Oh how I wish I could exercise. I started walking each day 5minutes from home and back & that was all I could handle. Now built it up to 25 mins each way and its getting easier. Also started seeing an exercise physiologist for strength & muscles using weights which also makes me sweat. Cannot peddle on a bike as my calves…

There is also a low carb group on MFP that has great links on the home page with a lot of articles to get u started. Just search for low carb group. There are lots of variations to low carb including ketosis, so a lot of us are in both groups.

Yep it takes a few weeks of keto to become what is called keto adapted. This is when your body comes into rhythm with a WOE that is easy to make a forever lifetime way.
