See a doctor? I was nearly 400lbs and drinking nearly 6 cans of pop a day, eating everything known to man, and with no discipline. Now dead set on what I am doing, motivated, not drinking any pop, or no snacks. See a doctor? Good grief.

We both have plans moving forward and can tell a huge difference in how clothes fit, and how we feel. On top of that, no food cravings. I went from 6-7 cans of pop a day, most days, to only 5 or so in past 3 weeks. Don’t even crave it!

I started two weeks ago and I actually need to drop about 125!! I’m always here to chat and I wish you nothing but the best. My wife and I are doing Atkins. I am down 16.5 pounds in just over two weeks, and starting to feel great!! Feel free to add me as a friend so that we can communicate!!

Feeling pretty good here after 2 weeks of doing the Atkins 20, and I am sitting at 14 lbs lost, and my wife is down 7. I’m still at 381, but I feel amazing and on top of the number on the scale, have lost inches!!! Everyone stay strong! If I can do it, so can you.

On about the second and third nights of starting on this low-carb diet, both my wife and myself had a very hard time of getting a good night of sleep. I was sleeping for about an hour and then would wake up and continue that cycle of getting about an hour of sleep at a time. My naps were not much better as I would fall…

Also, I have had some looser than normal stools. Nothing “solid” (for lack of better word) in the 3 days. I should also clarify, I am NOT vomiting, just felt nauseous earlier. A tad better after a bit cup of hot water with bouillon cube.

My wife and myself would like to start on it ASAP. We are not finding many people that are doing it, but I did it over 10 years ago and lost a bunch of weight. I need to do so again. We are desperately trying to find the exact diet and how it works because we need to begin with the Atkins 20 obviously.

Been there, did that. Looking for THEE actual plan itself. Want to do the Atkins 20, but feel there is more to this than simply making sure we are eating less than 20 net carbs per day. Every website has slightly differing information, but no real outline of the actual diet itself. Does that make sense?

Thanks everyone! I have been pleased with the numbers so far (Down 41 since June 23rd), but my goal is to lose 40 more before Dec 1. Long term goal is to lose A TOTAL of 90 more from my current weight. I just turned 40 in June, but feeling great!

I work with students daily, and I have made promises publicly that I am going to better myself. I enjoy posting weekly successes, because why shouldn't you be happy when you're dedicated to this, but I just hope people understand it's going to take time.
