  • Breastfeeding burns an additional 300-500 calories a day according to google :) That being said, you also need to eat more calories while breastfeeding to maintain milk supply, so just be careful of cutting back too much too quickly or you could see a drop in supply.   • I'm in Maine, so our season is short, but I grow a TON of basil and freeze pesto so I can use all year. I also have a huge rhubarb patch and make about 10-15 gallons of wine a season... and then drink it all winter ;) Jealous of your watermelons, I can't get them to grow right here!
