  • Thanks for that. You must have a very strong willpower to stick to no carbs. I dont know if I could be that strong but for health reasons I am trying to limit my carbs to the very minimum now. Wouldn't it cost more in food? Wheat is cheaper than meat or other proteins.

I get "boring" food on purpose cos I know if I get my favourite packet of shortbread, I'll probably go nuts and eat the whole lot. Please dont give child soft drinks or sodas.   • Yes I tried the 3 day military diet, lost 3kg in a week but cld I stick to the diet for life? No. Which is why I am here to make a lifetime change. Strict diets are usually temporary.

  • There's only one way to find out and that's when you weigh yourself again. Suggest make weigh day a Monday so hopefully this will help you to have a bit more control over the weekend and fit in some more exercise.
