I'm about 20 pounds less 14 years and 4 gorgeous little girls later!!! Hoping to be 40 less at 15 years next summer (I'm holding fast at the 4 kids though, LOL!)

For me I think it's finally sunk in that there will be days that don't go as planned and not to self sabotage if I have an off meal. As long as the good days are greater than the bad in the end the one F-up isn't going to cause me to gain. Plus I found my love/joy in working out everyday so that off sets those bad days and…

I remember dreading the week that had the 20 minute run....I think I repeated the week before it three times stalling myself.....internal convo went something like this Head-"There's no way in heck you can run for 20 minutes without stopping Body" Body-"We can't repeat week 5 forever Head" Head-"OK give it a shot but you…

Great job!! I would like to lose 30 more too but it's slowed way down and need to get back on track....I'm glad I'm maintaining....summer is hard for me....I drink more alcohol in the summer!! Nothing like a cold beer after a long run on a hot summer evening!!

Google search phoenix or chrysalis both have strong transformation meanings kind of out of the ashes of your old unfit self you are reborn.....into a new better version of yourself. Good luck like another poster mentioned it's totally personal!

Size 16 to 8/6 still need to lose about 30 pounds more to get to the middle of "normal" BMI (I'm 5'2"). I have been lifting weights though since January and may reevaluate when I can drop some more of my belly fat. I'm maintaining my loss for the rest of summer and hitting it hard when school starts back again and it cools…

I was shaving my legs and I still can't get over how many "hollows" fit legs have! Knees, ankles and hips! Crazy!! I also agree about the shopping. Last time I was this size was my early twenties and even then I thought I was "fat"....now I'm not quite sure what my style is as a 42 year old professional not to mention…

I have PCOS. I struggled in my 30's to conceive went to fertility specialist and tried several unsuccessful rounds of Clomid and IUI finally after three years with no baby I gave up, went to acupuncture and was pregnant within 6 weeks. Struggled to conceive again and did a successful round of IVF with a successful FET two…

What I'm more embarrassed about is that I walked around at my before picture for 10ish years of my life. I felt terrible because of the 100+ extra pounds I was lugging around and I looked terrible too. I'm still hoping to get down another 30 pounds and and then I'll finally be out of the "overweight" BMI and firmly into…

You'd be surprised, in 17 weeks mine went from 281 to 187! My Dr was thrilled. Sugars were finally normal again too! Good luck to you.

I married in my late 20's and spent the entirety of my 30's struggling with infertility and secondary infertility. After our first arrived after three long years of treatments and drugs and then 2 successful rounds of IVF...my 4th daughter was a 40th birthday miracle! Those years took a major physical toll on my body so I…

Time to go dress shopping! Great job!

Yes ma'am there is a difference! Keep it up and keep taking pictures! I was so afraid of not seeing a difference in the beginning that I didn't start taking photos until I dropped about 40# ...now I wish I could fill in the missing links!

@Keladelphia dang girl your abs!!! Fantastic!! You don't look "fluffy" at all. Maybe I will add those onto my non-scale related goals!! What is your routine? My midsection is the worst.... (sorry @Adphillips9 for hijacking your post)
-
I feel the same way. I have set scale related goals along the way and have been slowly ticking them off the list. I am 5'2" my SW was 225 and my CW is 152. Now that I am closer to my goal of 135 the weight is taking forever to come off. I have been toying with the possibility of my ultimate goal weight of 120 but quite…
