This is so cool! Can't wait to see your progress pics!!

This is the first time I've done keto, and I'm finding it very easy to stick with. I really don't have cravings for food I should not eat, and I love the food I can eat. I still have 30+ lbs to lose, and I can't imagine going back to heavy carb consumption after feeling so good with this woe.

Wow! You are an inspiration. WTG!!!

Welcome. Great group here. Best of luck on your journey. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Binges happen. As binges go, it didn't sound too bad. I'm sure it helped writing about it this morning. You have been making some wonderful changes in your life. I love how you have decided to be gentle with yourself. Keep on with your plan and don't be too hard on yourself about the binge. Because you mentioned it…

Your numbers are wonderful! I get my blood test results Tuesday. Keeping my fingers crossed.
-
That is fantastic! I go see my doctor Tuesday and would love to be told I don't need the meds anymore.
-
You are doing great, collegefbfan!!! 10,800/10,000 steps today.
-
Welcome, Mandy. You will find this to be a wonderfully supportive group. So glad I found it, too!!

Got my 10K steps done, played tennis, and rode the bike. Good day!

Suzqtme, using a blood glucose meter as a fuel guage is such in interesting concept. I'm familiar with intermittent fasting, but not using a meter to determine when you should eat your next meal. I'm at the point where I find myself eating a meal just because it's mealtime even though I'm not really hungry. I may give this…

I like to put a pickle slice in deli meat and cheese roll-ups. I also mix cream cheese with whipped cream. The fat fills me up so my cravings stop.

Got my 10K steps today. Welcome frankiesgirl!!

What great success! Your work routine is impressive. Those last five pounds will be goners!!
-
Great success for you! Congrats!!

I use mct oil in my bulletproof coffee and it really works for me. My fiber intake is usually 5 grams or less a day.

How's it going, Lori. I'm new to this group, but started low carb in June. Then last month went to keto. It is working for me, and I feel great. Your original post resonated with me - I totally get what you said. This time around for me it's more about my health than the pounds. Hope it's going well for you.

At first I wasn't counting calories, just macros. But I wasn't losing after a bit, so I started watching the calories too, and now I'm losing again. It really helps me when I up my fat intake. I'm usually under 20 grams of carbs a day.

Didn't get all my steps in last week with two long travel days. We camped and I stayed lchf easily the whole time. Lots of eggs, bacon, burgers, chicken, guacamole, celery, cheese, and slim jims. Even had my own camp version of bulletproof coffee. Today I got a good bike ride in and 10K steps, so back on track.

9/5 - 12,400 steps
-
9/3 - 10K steps 9/4 - 11K steps Still on track for 10K a day!! I also rode the bike for 9 miles both days. Going camping in the Smoky Mountains Tuesday thru Friday. I'll get plenty of steps hiking, but will be in the car all day Tuesday and Friday, so probably won't make my 10K goal those days.

Day 2: 14K, 28 days to go!!

For me, low carb eating helps control my cravings for carbs. I'm nowhere near my goal, but I have learned that because my body is insulin resistant, T2D, I will always have to control the amount of carbs I eat, or else my insulin level will go up and I will start storing fat again and I have more bouts of out-of-control…

Hi All! I'm just new to this world of biking, so I'll set my goal for 150 miles for September.
-
Goal - 10K steps; first day did 11K. The humidity has been killer down here in Florida lately due to Hermine. Oh well, it is what it is!!!!
-
Glad to hear there are many of you like me. I am super obsessed during this weight loss journey. I think mostly it's because I'm losing so slowly. And I've said quite often it's my job and got to get 'er done each day. It helps keep me focused.
-
How fun to write your own success story! I can't wait to write mine. You have inspired me to keep on keeping on.
-
Excellent progress!! You have made some lifestyle choices that made quite a difference. You look amazing!!!
-
My step it up goal is to walk more. I will shoot for 10K steps a day. I also want to lose 4 lbs in September.

You look awesome! I like what you said about being diligent and not letting a bad day or week get in the way of success. Great job!!!
