And I know about it from the 5 years I lived in Kansas.

I haven't been back to visit Kansas for years. But probably need to stop there next time I do.

This could cause damage to your digestive system with some medications. Did you read the first post? Or just the title? Now, in another group a woman insisted a medication that required food was causing her to gain weight because she didn't just eat a snack, but a full meal every time she took it- in addition to her other…

I tend to eat a piece of cheese in that situation.

It sounds very well like the oral surgery damaged a nerve and it's slowly healing. Good luck!

Fears of food additives has been going on since the early 1900's at the minimum. There is a book about it, called "White Bread."

I never heard the term clean eating in my childhood in the 70's and 80's, and I grew up down the street from a natural foods coop. It was "Whole Foods" and "natural foods." And this was in Northern California. People had mixed feelings on highly processed foods, but overall it wasn't called clean eating. My dad might have…

These things are why I don't understand how people restrict calories on Keto.

Blue cheese is my favorite and sometimes I still work it into my calories and sodium, but lately I've been eating Panera at Home's poppyseed.

Could you get one of those coolers that plugs into your cigarette outlet? That way boiled eggs and snacks like cheese and yogurt could last longer.

I kind of prefer my food treated with dihydrogen monoxide. (I'm not afraid of many other chemicals either. )

Time for a new trainer.

Not at all true. That sounds mean and bitter- I'd find a new trainer. Every little bit helps, no matter how you slip up in another area.

My favorite fries ever were some my mom made occasionally when I was a kid. Thin and crispy with soft insides. For fast food. McDonald's is good. In n out is good. If I randomly run into a Belgian style fry shop, usually those are very good- if they are truly doing them Belgian style. If I go to sonic I get onion rings or…

I work at several sites and pack a lunch bag with ice packs. I put a variety of things in it that I can eat together as a meal or as snacks as I have time. Usually there is a fiber one bar, some yogurt, some cheese, some sort of raw veggies (whatever is a good deal that week. Lately it's been cauliflower, but baby carrots…

Just today, and yesterday, I took some prepackaged slaw, added some cheese, half an avocado, and dressing and ate it. It's too hot to cook here.

When I've gotten bigger muscles from a lot of bike riding, my pants got tighter without gaining any weight.

I eat a container of dry cheerios in my car along with a coffee with milk.

Electric pressure cookers turn themselves to warm or off, depending on the cooker and what you tell it to do.
-
I had a cheap rice cooker for years. It's in my basement now. I use either my instant pot or gowise pressure cookers to make rice. I've never had a problem. I'm sure an expensive rice cooker might do a better job, but the electric pressure cooker does a better job than my cheap rice cooker did. Especially for brown rice.

You should be able to get a wide variety of foods and many more calories for that budget. At least in the US. I lived on about $100 or often less a month for food 20 years ago. I bought things like rice, pasta, beans, fresh and frozen vegetables and more. But things like meat were a treat. Even now, I rarely spend more…

Keeping busy to be distracted.

I'm not going to sleep well if I eat foods with a lot of liquid or caffeine late at night. But my body will digest them fine.
-
It cooks fine from frozen in air fryers too.

Fiber, coffee, enough liquids, and a little bit of fat. Not everyone poops daily, and I have a little IBS and stress and medication changes affect me the most.

Sushi grade isn't a standardized term.

This. My dad used to always tell me guys wouldn't like that I walked too fast or wore clothes that were too baggy (it was the late 80's/early 90's) I brushed it off, but it still hurt. Then when fashions got more fittedhe would send me back to my apartment to change before taking the family out to dinner! Couldn't win.

I get those in bulk on Amazon. A trick I've seen used, but never used myself, is just a little clear cake gel. I saw it used on a type 1 diabetic who passed out in my classroom.

It seriously depends on the kid, not the sex. My sister and I struggled to keep enough weight on our growing bodies until we were well out of our teens. I was slightly underweight until almost 30. And I ate a lot.
-
No. That's not how diabetes works. But moms can say crazy things like that. I was an underweight teen and would do things like get into the powdered sugar and she'd yell at me that I must be getting diabetes because I was craving sugar. That's not how it works. She knew that and still tried to mess with me.
