I use to work out a lot. I noticed when I would have a heavy work out 1 day I would lose 2 lbs in water weight and get 3 lbs back in muscle. It's just the way it works. In order for me to lose weight I had to do more cardio. Also the muscles store water to prevent damage.

Doggy bags. Portion control. It's okay to have a cheat day in there too.

The hospital food alone im sure melted my weight away after broken femur surgery. Only thing I ate was jellos and soups(broth)

Noted. I'm sure it would be fine. I have actually enjoyed making healthier alternatives at home to be honest. I've found a way to tame those bad addictive cravings with spices in my cabinet at home.

Have you tried Agave nectar as a substitute? It's been good for me.

Stay away from processed foods and you'll do great. I like to start my mornings off with fruit smoothies packed full of probiotics

It has been my understanding that saturated fats from a plant source is healthier than saturated fats from a meat source.
