If space is an issue and you want to add some extra resistance, invest in some good quality resistance bands.

I second Bodylastics. You can buy different strength packs depending on your current strength, that have clip on bands so you can vary the resistance. I think I paid around £30 (~$45) for my set on Amazon, and it came with a little bag, a door anchor and ankle straps and of course several different bands. So far, no…

Sprite zero. My old favourite would have to be Diet Coke with Lemon but I haven't seen one in years! :(

Looking around, it seems that elliptical trainers tend to be on the more expensive side of cardio equipment. For $300, I think you'd get a much better deal on a stationary bike if you're willing to compromise.

Don't think I could work with pizza. Lack of self control :p

Incline walks, rowing and the mini stepper machine. They're my go to ones for steady state. I'll only use my stationary bike for intervals, otherwise I will die of boredom.

Fast food at the moment, saving up to start my masters degree. Hate it!

If you're in a caloric deficit, you will lose weight.
-
I made some for the first time, I only got to eat one because everyone else ate them before I had the chance :(
-
Pizza! Leaving out the chips (fries), I can easily fit a whole pizza into my daily goals :)

Maybe a hobby would help, particularly something that would keep your hands busy.

I can't do it. Personally, I found it expensive and my preference to eat fruits over vegetables played a big part. Now, I eat my carbs guilt-free, and finding it easier to eat below maintenance calories :) .

Oats are a good breakfast option and they're cheap, plus you can make porridge with water instead of milk. Wouldn't a loaf of non-organic whole grain bread cost just the same as a loaf of white bread? Keep a little money each week, and look for offers on meat. Stock up and freeze what you will not be using, same goes for…

Mixed with some tomato puree, and stuffed into a red bell pepper with a little bit of cheese on the top.

I add uncooked oats to my smoothies. It's so tasty :)

Condiments such as ketchup, mayo etc.

If you have any cardio equipment, try some high intensity interval training (HIIT). That'll get you sweating in no time! If not, try FitnessBlender on Youtube, they have workout videos that do not require any equipment and you can choose a difficulty level to suit your needs.

Yes. Absolutely love milk :) . As for being bad for you... you can pretty much find an article about any food on the internet telling you it's bad for you.

What's helping me at the moment is practicing without any weights, and holding the squat at the bottom for a set amount of time.

Started out as a food I used because it was low calorie. Now, I eat it because I enjoy it and it's convenient.

Thought OP used 50g of the raw sweet potato  .

Stay away from fried foods. Order boiled rice instead of fried rice etc. However, if going out to eat is something you don't do very often, don't be too restrictive. Eat what you enjoy, one night isn't going to destroy your weight loss goals.

(50/411)*353 = 43kcal (rounded up).

Nope! Enjoy bananas too much :)

I feel your pain, working in fast food at the moment too. When you've pre-logged you know exactly what you're going to eat on your break as opposed to trying to pick on the spot.

Tried a very low carb diet in the past. Hated it. I want to find the balance between enjoying food and being sensible with what I eat. A low carbohydrate diet just made me miserable and was too restrictive in my opinion. Everyone is different though, maybe you'll enjoy doing it. Good luck to you.

For me, a meal that contains a decent amount of kidney beans washed down with a glass of whole milk and I'm pretty much done for the day :D .
