resistance bands?

how long do they last? i have only been using mine a month and it broke at the beginning of my workout.

    Depends on the brand. The cheaper ones do not last very long in my experience.

    I second Bodylastics. You can buy different strength packs depending on your current strength, that have clip on bands so you can vary the resistance. I think I paid around £30 (~$45) for my set on Amazon, and it came with a little bag, a door anchor and ankle straps and of course several different bands. So far, no problems and they feel like they'll last a long time! :)
