  • I do know there is talk about the aspartame being harmful to some people.I drink 3 Diet Dr Pepper's on most days and still manage to get in 80-100 oz of ice water with lemon juice.It doesn't make me crave sweets.I'm a former diabetic and weigh less than 125 and although I end up eating more carbs maybe the diet drinks have…
  • I drink lemon water throughout the day simply because I don't like plain water.It is a natural diuretic but I don't believe I have ever lost any weight from it.It helps me drink more water.I think there is supposed to be some reasoning online about drinking hot water with lemon before breakfast but I drink mine with ice.
  • I also like the nonfat Fair Life milk.It is lactose free,has more protein and less carbs than any other milk I've tried.
  • It may work for awhile but if you do go back to your old habits especially without an exercise plan the weight will come back on slowly if you aren't careful.However I'm sure there are people who lose weight w/o tracking every day.I don't happen to be one of the however.
  • I use extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar.EVOO has more calories but we need healthy oils to keep our hair from falling out,losing muscle tone,etc.I also add protein to all my salads.

  • I still drink a 12 oz Diet Dr Pepper for breakfast,ice tea with lunch and dinner but the rest of the day I drink ice water with lemon juice.It's just right for me.
  • You are beautiful and brave.I understand your feelings though.I started at 332 and now weigh 155.4 and I look ok with clothes on but naked I look like a 85 yr old woman with the wrinkles and lose skin.I told DH I didn't want a tummy tuck.I wanted a body tuck.Good luck to you with the rest of your WL journey.

  • I reduced my carbs while I was diabetic so I want to be under.However as of 2 weeks ago I am no longer diabetic.However I'm always over on protein but it's lean protein and my lab work shows my protein levels right in the middle and my dr was very pleased.I continue to watch some carbs to make sure I'm never diabetic again.

  • If you rejoin WW and do the Smart Points you also need the sugar grams to calculate the points.Anything with sugar or dairy has gone up in points.They are now urging more lean protein,fruits and veggies.
