  • It's pretty rough if you're not used to it, to begin with. If you stick with it though you'll eventually acclimatize and up your energy levels. Best of luck
  • You can't target fat loss to any specific part of the body. You just have to eat less than you need to maintain your current weight for long enough for your body to use your fat in your overall body. Do the right thing (eat less than you need to maintain your weight) for as long as it takes.
  • I mean if you actually want to do something as simple as exercise you'll just do it. You know what to do. Just stand by your word like you expect others to.
  • This morning was pushups (Bring Sally Up challenge) as well as 30 straight. Bicep curls 4 x 30 Tricep dips x 20 Then start the day
  • Mate, it's 2024 and I'm reading comments in this thread about from people saying that eating less and moving more doesn't cause weight loss. God bless you my son. I hope those YouTube doctors you listen to bring all your health fantasies to reality.
  • Slow and steady wins the race. Good job, keep up the good work
  • Good work  It's truly amazing what we can accomplish if we stay on track for long enough. You'll inspire those around you by your efforts!
  • I sleep great. I make sure I keep my days full and get plenty of exercise though. Also eating carbs before bed seems to give me the energy to have a nice long 7+ hour uninterrupted session.
  • EVERY hour? I mean you might want to arrange an appointment with a doctor who deals with psychology. They'll be able to ask questions and get more information from you that will inform them far more than anyone in a comments section would be able to.
  • Bro you smashed it! Life is so much better when you're ripped haha. Keep up the good work!
  • Good job bro, Being home makes it tough to make good food and activity choices. You have to be more disciplined than those who are outside mostly during the day. That 2023 T-shirt is cool as heck by the way I need one lol
  • That sounds awfully like the guy who swears he can do 100 pushups because he can do 10 without breaking a sweat. Have they actually determined these formulas to be accurate and worthy estimates because this is the first time I'm ever hearing about it.
  • Weirdly I found a solution to the issue. If I'm uploading from my Phone/Camera/DCIM folder they'll ALWAYS but rotated. But, if I clip the image with a image snapper like the one on windows and save it, it uploads fine. I hope this helps whoever else has this problem.
  • I haven't read the replies so I may be repeating others here. I used to be like you however when I slowed down my pace of eating by about half it gave the food time to assimilate into my system and for it to recognize that I was no longer hungry. We can eat faster than the hunger hormone is suppressed.
  • Thanks for the response, I'll look into the solutions you provided.
  • Detoxing made you vomit and get the shakes? That's grim :( I think the doctor should be able to help you out with addiction withdraws if that's what it is. Not sure if cold turkey is best for everyone but you know what's best for you. Good luck and hope you get it sorted.
  • Nice work :) It's really good that you have a structure to your approach as it'll provide true consistency to your healthy lifestyle. Keep up the great work!
  • Anytime! I've found that a really cool feature about being steadfast in OMAD is that you aren't suffering as much as you would from a diet where you deny yourself certain foods. Focus and attention to detail will go up because you just stop thinking about eating as it's off the table for the next x amount of hours. You can…
  • Soooooo I did IF for 2 months, OMAD actually and began measuring my waist and was horrified to learn that I was 46inches. Decided to get my act together after discovering that I couldn't perform 10 (bad form) pushups and I was by far the fattest guy in a recent (at the time) group selfie. This was May this year. Ate 2 cans…
  • To be fair if I had a choice between a share-bag of cheese and onion and a can of sardines I'd probably go for the crisps too haha
  • Wow! If it were that expensive here I'd be much smaller than I am lol. Get some cheap flights to the UK and stock up!
  • Sardines (in brine). Cheap AF, about 50p per tin in the UK for 100g. 183kcals and 21g protein.
  • I think it's natural for motivation to dampen down from time to time. We get hyped up to make a change and through effort of will we make it happen and that spurs us on to achieve greater success. After a while though, like anything novel the buzz wears off and you're left with this new aspect of life that you've promised…
  • Yeah I don't know where she got that idea from either. She must be privy to the intricacies of their relationship beyond what OP has disclosed lol OP my advice would be to do you and get into the best physical and FINANCIAL shape a human get into incase the green-eyed monster wants to lash out at some point.
  • I have a similar goal as you. I'm doing my best to take the sloooooooow road to shreddedness by cutting my calories by about 300 below maintenance and being sure to log my food intake BEFORE the day and don't eat a morsel more than I have listed. Have you sorted out what you need to eat for a high protein diet that is…
  • Nice work! You must feel like a new man. The will power it took to accomplish that will make other challenges in life seem easy.
  • I feel you on that one. I can't seem to find a pair that actually warm my hands, they just make my fingertips numb and cumbersome
  • Oh, also as the weather gets colder (like here in the UK now) being leaner means wearing more layers unless you want the morning -1 degree temp to cut through you like a knife. I notice larger people walking about with their jackets open with T-shirts on and miss my built in insulation sometimes lol
  • Definitely, Putting to one side the commercial interests linked to supplement sales and social media click monies we have a lot of kids and grown people who are convinced that we have humans in their 50's / 60's ripped like Greek gods from chicken, rice and broccoli. I mean, is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? Nope. We…
  • Thanks Lou, I fiddled about with it yesterday evening and think I came to the same result. I also noticed that I put this question in the wrong section lol. Thanks for the help
