i am 36 5'7 156 lbs and i lighty jog at 4.5mph so i would think thats pretty fast for walking.

This. I cant sleep hungry. I will toss and turn until i finally give in and eat a huge bowl of cereal. I figure i just had an early breakfast so i skip it the next morning. I usually skip lunch aswell.

I have two HRM's. One is an ANT+ Suunto t3c and the other is a Bluetooth Polar H7 that i use with a 7th gen ipod nano. Maybe the Polar H7 can be used with something that can sync with MFP. But i am fine with what i have. I just want to know if MFP calculates 5 or 7 days of activity level.

Ironically, OP says Mayo is not worth the calories, but to me, Mayo is the only food item that needs oil to taste good. I dont like fat free or even light mayo. I would rather use a thin coat of real mayo then a thick coat of light or fat free. And i can not eat a BLT or turkey club sandwich without mayo.

Any kind of Oil. Other then using it to fry food, it has no taste to me. A salad with just vinegar taste the same to me as a salad with oil and vinegar. I actually do not even like the feeling on my lips i get from oil on a salad.

I had a whopper a few days ago and got it w/cheese. BK lists cheese as an extra 80 calories. I took the top off to add more ketchup (they never put enough ketchup on) Anyway, the cheese was not completely melted and you could tell there were 4 slices of cheese on it!

I do roofing and siding. Some days im constantly swinging hammers and climbing ladders and steep roofs carrying 100lb bundles of shingles, and some days i am walking back and forth all day cutting vinyl siding. I just drink while i am power walking on my treadmill. Time fly's by once you get a good buzz and by the end of the night i burned more then i drank. Also, I am walking and drinking right now as i type this. I currently have 2 calorie free beers to drink.LOL

I am not talking about counting exercise as activity level. I amsaying because i do not always work 5 days a week, i exercise those days and do not eat the calories those days.

on my treadmill i walk 3.5mph at an uphill incline of 8 and im lucky to burn 350 in 45 min. Thats around 115 calories per 15 min. So unless your power walking up a hill for an hour, i doubt you burned 450 calories.

Thats like eating a slice of pizza with a knife and fork. Its just not the same if you dont eat the meat right off the bone like cave men/women. Do you make corn on the cob and cut the corn off the cob too?

If your full before hitting your daily calorie goal, save them for another day in that week when you have a bigger appetite. I save alot of calories for weekends when theres fights or football games on. I save thousands of calories for holidays like thanksgiving. I love going backl for seconds or third while watching the…

This makes no sense. If you can exercise enough per week to have a 3-4 lb deficit ans still have energy then you can do it. I have and still do this. You are not going to gain it back unless you eat at a surplus. CICO. [Edited by MFP Mods]

You could also try the warrior diet. I like to eat big meals and can not sleep if i feel hungry. I am not a breakfast person and I am fine eating a cup of soup for lunch. I have been following it for a decade. I swear by it. Give it a try. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warrior_diet

Im not big but i have a big appetite. I eat a small portion of really good, really bad for you foods and eat a huge @$$ bowl of vegies with a few spices and S&P as filler.

36 and losing weight gets easier everytime i decide to be lazy and eat like a pig. Already down 25lbs in a little over a month. Got 10 more pounds to goal weight.

You could literally eat like 500 calories a day for 6 days and then on the 7th day eat 6000 calories and you would lose like 2lbs/week or more.

If your hunting in alaska, only eat what you kill. You might even come back a few pounds lighter. Or die of starvation.

I cant say from experience since #1 I didnt read your post. #2 I was born in Murica. But i have a theory that as soon as your plane lands one the great soil of Murica, you will start gaining weight. I think it has to do with the magnetic field of the equator. Am i rite?
