That's hard for me to answer. The difference in my actual strength happened pretty quickly. That in itself was enough motivation to keep going because while I didn't SEE a difference, I was able to handle heavier weights so I knew I was progressing. As far as what's visible, I started out with a pretty high fat percentage,…

I've become addicted to Amy's cheese enchiladas. It isn't very big and isn't exactly cheap, but it tastes amazing. I love Mexican food so this gives me a great fix, and I can log the calories.

I did, thanks. I'll try it. My son isn't ok with the roughness either. He wanted to hold my hand and said....ewwww!!!

Nooooo.....stopping isn't an option. If I have to deal, I will.

I was just thinking about trying that because I do have one of those motorized foot shaver things. It may be gross, but if it works screw it. I'll give it a shot and report back.

Well....if you discover something, please share. :

Maybe it wasn't the bacon but the grease that made you sick. Why not try counting calories like he is? Sounds like low carb wasn't sustainable for you. You can still do this.

I looked at convict conditioning online, but jeez....I'll never do a handstand anything! LMAO! I have seen you are your own gym too. I guess I just wanted to narrow down a few good compound moves to focus on that would mimic what I'm doing now. Thanks!

^^ 1000 times...yes.

I do too. I can NOT believe how many people can't spell! It's really disturbing. I'm already failing miserably at not being annoyed by this.....

I just eat light beforehand, and then enjoy myself while out although I keep an eye on portions. I take a larger serving of what's better for me, and select what looks good from the rest, again...taking a sensible piece. If there is dessert I'll take it but depending on what it is, maybe eat half. Don't stress. You're just…

The premise of what she said is very true. Staying in a deficit is what made me drop 30lbs, but it's the heavy lifting that's made me stronger and is helping firm up my body. I do a little cardio once or twice a week, but that's it.

I think you initially have to find the determination to get it done. Then...once you start making progress, along comes the motivation to see it through. It always sucks getting started. You just have to make up your mind to do it.

I struggled with regular bingeing for a while. Before: food comforts me, so I want it. Lots of it. During: i didn't really think about anything. I would zone out. After: I would feel out of control. And be physically sick.

I know I would never make it. Just stick to counting calories op. Eggs are great nutritionally, but don't you think you'll get tired of this quickly?
-
No good will come of that.....

How do you have your info set up on the app? How much are you trying to lose?

Congratulations! Way to inspire others!

I don't have any specific recommendations on easier videos, but I've always picked ones I liked for whatever reason and just modified it to match my ability. If I couldn't get through to the end, I just did as much as I could, or if one move just wasn't doable for me I would jog in place until the next one came along. I'm…

This past week was out of control for me, but I'm back on track with food and working out as of today. I ate what I wanted and it was great, but I know the scale will not show me anything I would be pleased seeing right now. I'm just getting back to it and I'll get on the scale in about a week after the water works it's…

^^ I agree that actually eating food tends to be more satisfying, but I drink protein shakes on my gym mornings because they're a quick grab and go thing. As was already said though, as long as what you're consuming keeps you in a deficit you'll lose weight. What I really wanted to comment on was the carnation shakes and…

Well, you have to make a decision as to whether you want to improve your diet or live on Doritos and cookies (I happen to love both btw!). Either stop making the trip to buy them, or...instead of buying a bag to "pig out" on, buy single serving packs and toss one in with your healthier lunch. They're a little more…

Mine is opened although these past few weeks it's been a mess with the holidays and having constant company.... Tomorrow I'm getting back to it though! Add me if you like.

You can add me on!

Add me too if you like.

You can add me too.

It's fairly close for me, but my caloric intake and activity level never change by much. It gives you a ballpark idea but that's about it.

You've gotten plenty of great suggestions, but I just wanted to comment on your eating vs your friends. I too thought something was different for me because no matter what I did, weight wouldn't come off. (I'm small stature too) I attributed it to getting older, but....I was wrong. I was simply eating over my calories.…

Best thing to do is eat at a small deficit for a .5lb/wk weight loss, make sure to get your protein in, and start some heavy strength training. All of those will help you hold onto as much muscle as possible while getting those few pounds off.
