So what I understood is: Salt is essential, but in moderation, like 2/3-1 teaspoon per day or what equals 2300 mg. Sea salt is better than table salt? Certainly it looks better :love:

I had a similar problem, I don't know whether it was binge eating or not, but I used to eat till my stomach hurt and I actually forced myself to vomit twice because I felt so awful. What I did was preparing healthy snacks "mainly vegetables, salad", writing this goal down on a paper to make it more real, chewing sugar-free…

Just stick to your calories and you'll see the pounds drop off, try to eat healthy food and do a bit of exercise, walking maybe. :smiley:

I have to use salt because of its iodine content :neutral: at first I was annoyed because I got used to eating without it, but I have to admit that it does indeed make everything taste better :love:

I believe they're both of equal importance :smile: and I found that eating a healthy balanced diet usually delivers most vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Vegetables, fruits and legumes plus whole grains and nuts are very good sources of the nutrients we need :D

My dietary vitamin D levels are very low, almost non-existent, but I thought that being exposed to sunlight might be enough :/ so do I need to get vit D also from food?

You can use supercook, I love it very much. You can input the ingredients you have, what to restrict "like meat and poultry" and what type of dish do you want "for example Asian or mediterranean", and also what type of meal. It will get you all the recipes you can make. If you want something specific, you can use filters…
