I maintain eating a salad lunch and a big dinner. That works for me. I do exercise though. Really a person can have as big a deficit as they will do exercise for. My average TDEE is about 2700kcal. That does give some room to eat more than just a little.

Eating carbs causes glycogen storage. I've read for every gram of glycogen stored, you also store about 4-5 grams of water. That is why you gain a lot eating carbs. Most of it is water. The trend should be a little bit more of an accurate state because its a moving average. That last week will get it moving down. The slope of the last part of the solid line goes down more than the trend line. They must use a longer average for the dotted line than the solid line.

In that case, I would eat that but just watch the high carb stuff. I think that would help. High fat doesn't seem to effect me near as much as high carb stuff.

I bet you that there is software involved that doesn't allow it to vary much. Some scales are higher quality and will have a smaller uncertainty but there will be some variability no matter what even though it can be very small.

I bet if you stand on your scale 5-times you will see a variation of at least .2 lbs in it all. Scales are not that accurate. Stress is the hardest thing for me to deal with. Don't have time for dealing with dieting when too stressed is how I feel. Anyways there are other days to deal with it!

Far from amazing but I am happy with being a little active. I am a long ways away from where I was 2.5-years ago when I could maybe jog 1/4 mile (I could hike though) and would huff and puff to put on ski boots because my stomach was in the way! The best part of getting thinner for me is being able to do things!

Way too much! I'm not sure but I think I ate all the cals back. I was probably doing ok tell I discovered that my wife had bought a bag of dates. I love those things and ate a bunch of them! Still it was nice to be able to have a large meal.
