  • So how do I join this club?
  • me too please. I need all the motivation I can get! In the fall I was really self motivated and now I just want to go home at the end of the day and sit.
  • Any and all of you can add me as well, PLEASE. I'm in the same boat and right now my motivation is nonexistent. I need to get my head clear and my mind focused. Please and thank you.
  • I use both mfp and fitbit. I went to the website IIFYM and they set my cal. intake, my macros, and gave me instruction to workout. Before I was cutting cal. and working out and had almost 1500 to 2000 cal left a day. I was tired and really hit a wall. The new program is hard because I have to eat so many cal. but it is…
  • I have been having so much trouble even losing a pound or two. When I exercise I can burn about 600 calories according to my fitbit and my TDEE for the day can be as much as 3500 but I was trying to eat only around 1200 cal. I was told to eat more and eat more carbs. So Im trying that but still no change except for the day…
  • You could add me as well. I have much more than 50 pounds to lose. I am having a difficult and frustrating time. I would love some encouragement and support.
  • Thanks, I read somewhere chocolate milk believe it or not. So I made a smoothie with almond butter and protein mix. Problem is it's a lot of Cals. Late in the day. And I still have supper to eat. Oh well. I'm still working on getting this all worked out. Thanks again.
  • Lol thanks! But that wasn't the direction I was going. A couple of Tbsp of almond butter is a start though I think.
  • Thank you, I appreciate the insight. My fitness pal recalculated my food goal and I am trying to meet that higher goal. It isn't as easy as one might think. MFP said about 1750 cals. is that acceptable do you think?
  • Thanks everyone! I really needed the advice. I guess eat more and don't believe my Fitbit for calorie burn.... :)
  • Thank you. I have been using my fitbit and I weigh about 287 right now and am 5'6" and 44 yrs old and I have been nearly running. But I am willing to except that my calorie burn isn't that high and the 3500 -4500 was for the whole day. Everyone is saying to eat more calories and that exercise won't make a difference in my…
  • Thank you, I am 5'6" and 44 and have been sedentary. My fitbit says that I burn about 800-850 while exercising which is way higher than the exercise machine but it is suppose to be based on my heart rate. So you think it could just be that my burn isn't as high as I think it is? But should I be eating back exercise cal?…
  • Ok that all makes sense, thank you. But my question then why should I be exercising if those calories have to be eaten? How do you create a calorie deficit and lose weight if you are supposed to eat back those calories? Im so confused. When does my body start losing weight? So yesterday I was to eat 1460 cal. I fell asleep…
  • Yesterday I walked 60 min and 2.5 miles and burned 450 cal. I was reading though that I can't trust the cal. burned on the machine. Is that true?
  • I want to join the walking challenge. I'm new to this. I don't even know if I'm messaging correctly. I've been walking an hour and trying to increase pace and cal. burned, build strength and tone. I've always been heavy in my legs. I just read that walking or running is the best to slim down your legs.
