Welcome! Great job!

45 minutes of housecleaning involving sweeping, mopping, dusting. That's all I have in me today

I love it. I'm not a dancer and I sometimes face left when everyone else is facing right. Lol It doesn't matter because it burns a ton of calories and it's fun. Try it a couple of times to really get a feel for it. You can modify moves to suit you. There's a learning curve for the moves but just keep moving. That's what I…

Weight training and zumba. It was just what I needed. I couldn't make it to the gym to lift before zumba but I needed both today. :) This challenge is making me move!

I agree. Especially if you hate them. I love veggies but I can't stand them steamed. Drizzle some olive oil or toss them with some coconut oil n your vegetables and roast them. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese when they are hot after. Broccoli, cauliflower and kale is great cooked this way. Chop up vegetables and cook it in…

I will look into the primal diet. I do a modified paleo since I am allergic to wheat but I love my Greek yogurt. Thanks for the info

Treadmill and lifting. Arm day again. Done :)

That's wonderful. You made a wise choice not going to the food fair. Just sampling food can add up. :) Find that good doctor and get a full checkup. Until then, keep moving but don't hurt yourself. Slow and steady. You made great progress today. You are well on your way to meeting your goals. Grest job!

You're doing great. This challenge has helped me too. Is the primal diet similar to paleo? No grains, etc?

Intermittent fasting

Up and down stairs 10+ times. Squats with a baby and a couple times holding both a baby and a toddler doing squats and climbing those stairs. I didn't get a true workout at the gym but I feel like it. Especially since my last weight lifting session was arms ; )

You made that first important step, you want a change. It can happen but quick changes aren't going to happen and it's not healthy anyway. Use this app and community board for encouraging support and ideas. Some have already posted some sound advice. You stated you can't walk far but taking baby steps is OK. You want to…

I love to eat good food, hated to exercise but learning how to balance both now. Never too old to learn something new :)

Welcome! If I wanted to reply and include your post with it, I would've pressed on the "quote right below yours. I'm trying to lose weight as well as gaining muscle. What's your goals? You're doing fine..you can add me if you want to. The more encouragement, the better. :)

Weigh yourself of Wednesdays and in the morning. It's more accurate and take measurements. I would do measurements every 6 weeks or so. Especially if you're gaining muscle but not losing the pounds yet.

I use salsa as salad dressing all the time. There's alot of choices out there, peach/mango, blackbean corn, etc and it adds flavor. Try mason jar salads. You can make it ahead of time and if nothing else, there's alot of great salad ideas out there. You reminded me how I need to get back to doing this. Thanks!

I love king ranch casserole. Yummy!

I chop leftover chicken and add some bbq sauce to it. Bake a sweet potato and top it with the bbq chicken. Eat it with a side of spinach salad. Another thing that I do that's easy is to make a quick stir fry or fried rice. Soy sauce, garlic, onions, mixed veggies (frozen that you zap a bit in the microwave) a couple of…

You had me googling Leslie Sansone. Lol Good job!

Ended up being a rest day: 20 min treadmill 2.5 Wanted to lift today but worked out so late last night, I need that rest time between workouts. Tomorrow, it's on :)

Exercising isn't out of the question. There are exercises you can do with dumbells and in a chair. Look on youtube and find 1 that appeals to you. Ask your doctor what she/he would recommend for exercise. Swimming is an option, chair workouts, walking with a knee brace. Just get moving in some way and track what you eat…

This is a tough one. No matter what, I always cook so I can control what I will eat. If you go elsewhere, you can say no knowing you have something at home. If you have to have it, still divide your plate. Half veggies, 1/4 protein and 1/4 carb. Treat desserts as a carb on that plate, something like green bean casserole as…

Great job!

Day 10..holding a 2 month old while doing squats. Gotta be worth something especially with a colicky baby. :) Lifted weights and 20 minutes on the treadmill (without the baby)

You did it right. I'm excited for you. Make weekly goals besides the weight loss. Measure yourself or I am sure your trainer will do that. Sometimes the inches will come off before the pounds but tracking your measurements lets you know you're gaining muscle and losing fat.
-
Wasnt through a fad diet lol
-
Sharing your goal with a trainer is great. Don't forget you can get nutrition help from them. Some do and some don't but they can hellp with that too to reach your goal. Sounds like a sound plan. Glad to hear that it was through a fad diet, fasting or drastic calorie/carb reduction. You have ther drive, the resources and…

Great job. I'm not a runner so running more than 2 minutes is fine in my book. :)

3 stone? 60 pounds? In 7 months. That seems like alot to me. Would you be able to sustain that after you lose the weight? How are you planning to lose so much so fast?
