  • Pinterest has a ton. Use words such as healthy and best when searching
  • This is what fitness is about...to enjoy life! Hope you had a great outing
  • Zumba today. Lifting tomorrow morning
  • It out! Sorry, it cut it out :)
  • You're not 'just trying', you're pretty much knocking
  • Cleaned the garage, the weather was incredible today. I lifted boxes, swept, moved yard equipment, etc. It was great.
  • Zumba and weightlifting today.
  • When I wasn't walking to the table to get more food for Thanksgiving, I was outside enjoying the cool weather playing *kitten*. That's as athletic as it got on Thanksgiving. Gym time early in the morning.
  • Practice against a wall. Wall squats. If you're a member of a gym, use the cables to help your form. You use them to lower yourself into the proper position and stay there for a few seconds. This is what I am doing because my squats need help too because of my knees. Just a suggestion.
  • Zumba for 1 hour.
  • Make an appointment with your cardiologist with your concerns. That's the thing you should do, even if you have a trainer at the gym, that person would advise you to seek medical advice. Your question is outside the scope of expertise of this forum.
  • You pointing this out made me look at my diary and guess what? I was in the red for just 2 days, close on 1 and nowhere near the recommended amount for the rest. That's just for this last week. I definitely need to increase my fiber intake. The red days were my better days. Hmmm, gotta step up my game, thanks!
  • I love this idea too. Never thought to put cranberry sauce in it. Sounds so yummy.
  • Thank you for sharing. I am still in my dumbbell squat stage..bad knees. ..and was getting frustrated.
  • I didn't say it wasn't. Some are for all carbs, some for no carbs but we all have different goals and how we go about it. Telling her to go all out and eat whatever without a balanced diet would be as bad as telling her to cut out carbs and sugars. We can have it all. Yes, calories in versus calories out but if that's all…
  • I haven't forgotten this challenge. When I wasn't working out at the gym, I at least got in my 10,000 steps. Today, Zumba! Sore but feeling a little better about The feast day called Thanksgiving that's next week :)
  • I would say it can be a part of a healthy lifestyle. As long as you're not grazing on the bowling alley food, guzzling the beer and soda. It's a great social activity and can be a way of not being a couch potato but unless you're running laps in the alley between balls it's not getting your heartrate up enough.
  • Sit down and set some goals. What are your goals besides losing x number of pounds? Do you want to be fit, are you trying to get off of certain meds you're on right now, how are you visualizing your lifestyle in 5-10-15 years? You want to eat this way but are you looking at your long term health, is it sustainable and if…
  • You wanting to make a change is where it starts. Take it easy on yourself and know that you can and will do this, just not overnight. There's going to be victories and setbacks but look at it all in a positive way, you can learn from all of it. Make small sustainable changes, add exercise. Find something that you enjoy,…
  • Don't push yourself too hard. Your walks are great . You could just increase the length of your walks and see how you feel after that. If you still want to join a gym after that, take advantage of the trial period most offer to see if you want to join or if you need to look elsewhere. You aren't supposed to feel awful and…
  • Congratulations on your new baby! Take care of your body and your symptoms and give yourself some time for your recovery. It's not a race and please don't feel depressed about the time you have to take to get to a healthy point. Have you gotten the A-OK about exercising? Just taking a walk with the baby might help how you…
  • I do this every morning. I mix my protein powder (Pure Protein is the brand I use) with a cup of Vanilla almond and coconut blend milk. Shake then add the coffee and shake. It's creamy and smooth every time. I use less milk sometimes but the milk is how I try to get my calcium in too.
  • This^^would be truly amazing. Chorizo tacos!! Would love 3 please. :)
  • Yes! I tried making french toast once with it. It floated in the egg mixture and was a total disaster. Lol
  • The cloud brea You probably can. You would have to separate the bread so it won'It's so easy though. It's protein because it's just eggs, cottage cheese or cream cheese and cream of tartar. It beats the pricetag that gf bread has and I have used the bread in place of pancakes when I messed up baking it. Lol
  • This definitely sucks. I feel for you. I went for decades being told my symptoms was from my 'sensitive ' stomach or 'nerves' . I found a recipe for cloud bread. It's not really a bread per se but it's a great vehicle for sandwiches especially when I don't want to spend the money on gf breads. You can add add nutrition by…
  • Stop eating the rice altogether then. You're just playing a game of Russian Roulette with your health. The allergy testing don't always include tests for food. Sometimes you have to ask for it. You can't assume it's being tested. Were you tested for dairy? You weren't taking your allergy medicine for your allergy tests but…
  • If you're on mfp to lose weight, as far as the reflux, losing weight might help with that too. As you lose, you might feel a little better with your reflux . Doctors usually advise to lose some weight to help alleviate symptoms if you're overweight. Have you totally cleaned up the gluten in your diet? You said you get…
  • Where did you get the dumbbell fitness plan? In 30 days you will have incredible abs, arms bootie and core. Amazing workouts!! :)
  • Feel pretty good but tired. Zumba for an hour, followed by weightlifting then finished off with 20 minute interval on the elliptical. I should've lifted forst but I couldn't make it to the gym before the zumba class.
