The day you start is a great day. You are doing it right so the weight you lose will stay off.

You are so right about that!

Wheat free and gluten free goes hand in hand. I have an allergy and it's not fun. What has helped me is to read every label. The more processed the food, the higher the chance hidden wheat and gluten is hidden in there. Sauces, salad dressings, toppings all tend to have wheat in it. Say goodbye to the days of picking up a…

I'm going to print this. You hit it right on the head with every single one of these points. I can't go my regular zumba class right now and felt pretty bummed but my gym clothes are on and I can do it later and clean my house. Wait! That's not as fun as Zumba but it will be great to get it done

Feel free to add me.

I need to lose 60 pounds too. Add me and we can encourage each other.

I'm not sure how many people on this thread has given up but until the day they lay you into the ground, you have a chance to make a change. There's always going to be those that will put you down (big or small) but those you have to block and surround yourselves with people that will encourage you. Look to a church, the…

Rest day: 20 minute walk. Had quite a few church social events with food everywhere but I'm happy I made good choices all week. It wasn't easy because some of the seniors really can cook and bake. Lol

It's never too late.

But don't do those subtle changes all at once. One at a time. :)

If you are so stressed and depressed, see your doctor. You could be deficient in some nutrients and vitamins. I had a vitamin B and D deficiency and when I was able to increase that, my energy level also increased. Make weekly goals on your diet and exercise. Totally changing all at once is so hard. 1 week might be to eat…

There's an app called 7 minute workouts. It's free and gives a great workout. No weights needed. Try it. Walking is great too. Walk outside or get a walking dvd. Check out the library for some exercise dvds too. You can do it!

Try Jcpenney. I get the online coupon ($10 off $25 or 20%) and you can use them on clearance items. There's a nice sale going on right now. I need new shoes too. :)

Zumba and weightlifting today. I'm tired but feel good about doing this challenge

Maybe it's the shoes you're wearing. Wearing the right type can make a difference.

Your diet is 80%, exercise 20%..that's what they say. I just recently "uncomplicated" my diet. I measure my carbs and proteins. Everything else is open season. Once a week I eat a fatty fish like salmon or tuna. I buy a rotisserie chicken and shred the meat(without the skin) for 1 of my protein sources. Prepping my fresh…

Finished an hour of zumba. It really worked out the soreness from the kettlebell class yesterday. Finished with lifting and crunches. 30 second plank was still no joke at the end.
-
They actually recommend physical activity everyday. I have rest days from lifting but not aerobic activity. Resting got me into the situation I'm in right now. :)
-
As long as you're moving, it all counts. Great start!

Zumba class tonight. I wanted to miss but I just can't screw up my 100 day challenge on day 2. I'm glad I went because it improved my mood. Lol
-
I did an hour of zumba and lifted some weights after. Mostly with dumbbells..finished with crunches and a 30 second plank. That plank was hard, apparently my core sucks.

I think you're on the right track. Add me if you want
